"No time to die." Eno says, as we descend the elevator.

"What do you mean."

"Remeber what I told you, do what Snow wants and you'll be free to go. Loosing, not an option." The day of our victory tour had came, and even though me and Cato could be together in public, it was a lot different than what it would be in private. Cato held my hand tightly in the elevator, but as soon as the doors at opened Brutus seperated us. Cato made eye contact with him and there was a mutual understanding between the four of us, if today goes wrong, everything is over. Everything that had worked up to this point will go to waste.

When we exited the tribute center there was a crowd of capitol people. They were being kept away by peacekeepers, yelling and reaching out to try and see us. I looked around disgustingly, feeling like a animal in a zoo. I tried to look at Cato, but he was too busy getting his ears blown out by girls.

I always wondered how I'd handle jealousy, apparently pretty well. All these Capitol girls were fonding over him but I didn't care. I knew he didn't have eyes for any of them, I knew Cato, he's not like that. If anything I knew that he would kill anyone of them if they ever so much as touched him. I wanted to show them that, that no matter what they did or what they tried, Cato was mine, and he would be for the immediate future. But I couldn't, not in front of Snow.

We finally made our way to the train, and once the doors closed Cato shyly moved to my hand and kissed it softly. I smiled up at him as he led us to a couch, our hands still intertwined. The couch was facing the tracks, he sat down and I followed suit. I sat next to him, my head resting in between his chest and arm, which was wrapped around me tightly. There was silence between the two of us. If I'm being honest, talking was the last thing I wanted to do, I was burnt out. Occasionally, Cato would kiss my head, but other than that it was silent to district 1.

District one was somehow more gloomy than 2. Luxury looked less optimal, the houses looked bland and there was no joy in the area. When we left the train I looked around, this was the district that was full of charmers, the people closest to Capitol people. But it wasn't. Somehow I knew something had changed, because the world that Glimmer and Marvel mentioned, didn't seem like the place I was looking at right now. We were escorted to a stage, taken somewhere where the people wouldn't see. Eno and Brutus gave us some flashcards.

"Remember, I know you were close to these two, but you can't let emotions control what is said out there. Stick to the cards, and don't show how you really feel."

"But what if we want to do something-" Cato starts.

"You can't, that is not the purpose of this tour. For both of your sake, stick to the cards, smile and wave, and then you're one step closer to going home."

I noded, and our stylist came to touch us up. They had put me in a bodysuit and decorated my face with sparkles. I looked out the window of the room we were in, at all the people we were about to address. Then my eyes fell on the large candid photos of Marvel and Glimmer, and their families underneath them. I couldn't bare to stand in front of them, talking about their children that I might've been responsible for killing. Before I knew it the doors opened and we walked up to a microphone. There was cheers that erupted. After seeing that the eyes of Marvel and Glimmers families were not full of hatred, my fears were eased.

"The District 2 victors of the 74th Hunger Games!" I heard the mayor annouce, soon after, everyone went quiet. Cato looked at me as he walked forward, cards in hand.

"Thank you, we are honored to be here before you, and humbled from your districts sacrifice. Thanks to Marvel and Glimmer, we would not be standing here before you. And thanks to President Snow, they won't be forgotten."
