Nightingale was enjoying drinks with the team until Toshiko got a beep on her phone.
"UFO sighting over Cardigan Bay. Seven calls to emergency services," Toshiko reported.
"Can we at least finish our drinks, please?" Owen asked.
"Sure." Jack replied, "Take 10 seconds,"
Nightingale quirked an eyebrow as she quickly downed hers, earning a shocked look from the team. "What Asgardians know how to drink." she slammed the glass on the table. "So...UFOs,"

The team returned to the hub as Toshiko complained about the driving arrangements.
Nightingale giggled as she leaned her head on Jack's shoulder as they walked.
"All I'm saying is," Toshiko argued, "once in a while, I'd like to drive,"
"And all I'm saying is no," Owen declared.
"Why not?"
"I've shared cars with women before. I know what will happen. There'll be an emergency, we're all raring to go, I jump in, what do I find? The seat's in the wrong position, and the rear-view mirror's out of line. The steering wheel's in my crotch. In the time it takes to sort it all out, aliens will have taken Newport,"
"What about a rota?" Nightingale suggested, "Different people drive on different days,"
"We're a secret organization hunting alien technology from an underground base," Jack laughed, "and you want a rota for who drives,"
"Oh, I could care less about who drives. You most certainly don't want me to drive; I don't even have a license...I technically don't exist,"
Jack smirked and grew serious as the team entered the hub. "Tosh, call up the radar within a 50-mile radius of the bay for the last six hours. Gale, check with that man, Neil. I think his name was,"
"The one whose voice is like Sean Connery at Jodrell Bank?"
Jack nodded. "See if they picked up any chatter around the time of the sightings. Owen, access the airspace provision over Cardigan Bay. Also, any RAF flight plans, see if it's just a case of mistaken identity,"
Nightingale dialed her phone and smiled, "Is that Neil? It's Nightingale from Torchwood." She laughed, "I know. We're always after something, aren't we?" Nightingale waved at Ianto as he walked through the hub.
"Ianto!" Jack called out, "Would you work some coffee magic?"
"Please," Nightingale whispered while listening to Neil on the phone.
Ianto gave a small smile and nodded.
Nightingale looked up worried when the power began to flicker. "What's happening?"
"Internal power drain," Toshiko noted as she looked at her computers.
"What's causing it?"
"Something big to drain that amount of power." Jack pointed out, "Tosh, run a system diagnostic,"
"Actually," Ianto said, "we've been having generator problems all evening. I was down there checking earlier. A couple of bits of cabling have come loose. I thought I'd fixed it,"
Nightingale tilted her head to the side as she looked at Ianto.
"Let me have another look,"
"Fine." Jack said, "Go check,"
"Want some help?" Nightingale hung up her phone.
"I'm fine,"
Nightingale became distracted when she noticed Tosh's screen. "That's what you humans call a UFO?"
"Only just," Owen said as he looked over her shoulder at the screen.
"It's an Arkan leisure crawler. First generation,"
"A collector's item," Jack added. "Don't see many of those around these days. Tosh, send a polite message saying, Great to see them, but could they please get the hell out of our atmosphere? They're spooking the locals,"
"Done," Tosh said as she typed away.
Nightingale looked when the lights flickered again.
"There it goes again," Owen said.
Tosh's screen blinked with a warning of power being at 23%.
"Ianto, we've got another dose of darkness," Jack reported into his comm. "Did you find anything?"
Nightingale grew nervous when there was only silence.
"Ianto, I need to hear those beautiful Welsh vowels," Jack said.
"Power's draining to the storeroom at the bottom of the building," Toshiko reported. "I'm looking for human heat signals." she pulled up a map of the hub. "We've got..."
"Two signals," Owen said.
"So assuming one's Ianto..." Nightingale looked over at Jack. "Who's the other?"
