never felt so alone - labrinth

you say, with time pain comes and goes and someday mends
but it takes a simple memory and then you're crying on the floor

if it's been like half a life, it might be easy to pretend
but that doesn't make it easy to believe that you can close the door

they'll keep doing all of that until it comes to a dead end
then they'd just say they've never heard of you before

but they destroyed my childhood, and
they probably don't even know my name anymore
