A Rocky Escape

As the escape elevator came, Nicole felt a pit in her stomach hesitating and looking at GLaDOS who was laying on the ground. "Come on Nicole! Get in the lift!" Wheatley said making Nicole gulp. "I don't know... I mean, I know what's going to happen..." Nicole said looking at Wheatley and then GLaDOS. "What are you looking at? Are you going to mock me before you leave?" GLaDOS said before sighing. "What? Do you WANT me to mock you?" Nicole asked before getting into the lift.

As if it was summoned, the corruption happened and Nicole was paralyzed in fear. "What? Are you scared?" Wheatley asked as Nicole stepped back getting flashbacks to her family. "N-No, I-I'm intimidated by your size..." Nicole said trying to come up with a way to stop Wheatley. "Leave her alone you moron." GLaDOS said making you think of your sister. "I'm NOT A MORON!" Wheatley said as Nicole got up trying to speak up. "Wheatley..." Nicole said clearly not being heard. "Wheatley, stop.. " Nicole said a bit louder but still being ignored.

But as she watched the fight she heard a voice in her head saying "Stop them~ Yell at the top of your lungs~ It's the only way you'll survive~" As Nicole saw the fight was about to escalate, in a desperate attempt to stop them she finally had enough. "SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP! BOTH OF YOU! YOUR GOING TO GET US KILLED!" Nicole said getting both AI's attention before collapsing onto her knees. "Please... I'm begging you... I can't take this anymore..." Nicole said looking at the two AIs before seeing the elevator door open and a claw carefully take her out and place her in front of Wheatley putting GLaDOS down.

After only a few moments Nicole could see that Wheatley wasn't corrupted anymore and looked generally sorry. "I'm sorry... I got carried away..." Wheatley said making Nicole smile. "I guess I was being a moron." GLaDOS said making Nicole smile hugging her. "It's okay. But..." Nicole started looking at Wheatley. "Can we still leave?" Nicole asked as Wheatley nodded his giant head. "Yes we can but..." Wheatley started before thinking about something. "How will the escape lift work with nobody in charge?" Wheatley asked making Nicole smile. "A backup generator." Nicole said as Wheatley detached himself from GLaDOS's body turning back into an android.

But after the two were about to leave, Nicole stopped looking back at GLaDOS. "Come on Nicole. Let's get out of here." Wheatley said before Nicole walked over to GLaDOS and smiled. "Come with us GLaDOS. It's better than being stuck down here forever." Nicole said making GLaDOS smile. "Thank you Nicole." GLaDOS said as the three left.
