SAMRAT'S POV

It's been a whole two months since that incident happened, and let me tell you, everything has completely changed between us. Or maybe, just maybe, there's absolutely nothing left between us, at least according to her.

She looked after me the entire week while I had a cast on my arm. I had a feeling that maybe things had changed and she would accept my honesty.

She didn't even join us for dinner in the dining area, but in the morning she did come to have breakfast with us before heading off to her dance school.

But no, she didn't. I tried every single day for the past two months to talk with her, and I always asked her about her day when she came back from her dance school.

Maybe that's the only thing that gives her peace otherwise, she always has an emotionless face, even when she doesn't talk with family members.

Samarth tried his best to make her talk to him, but he didn't get any response. She always wanted to end the discussion as soon as possible so that she would lay down on the bed and stare at the ceiling.

She terrified me with her behaviour. I never imagined seeing my love like this, and I felt guilty each passing day for hiding my identity from her.

Maybe I can tell her everything on the first day of our marriage, but I still don't know what her reaction was.

Her absence makes me feel completely horrible, like if she's not with me, I'll die soon.

She didn't utter a single word for the past two months, making me completely disheartened to see that.

After discovering my true identity, she completely lost herself and began to distance herself from everyone.

And seeing this, I started dying from inside with each passing day, for which I was ready to give up his entire life. Today,  she doesn't even like to see his face.

Whenever I caught a glimpse of her, my heart would start racing uncontrollably. It was as if my heart had a mind of its own, reacting to her presence in a way that I couldn't explain.

But, sadly, she never even glanced in my direction. It hurt to see Avni treat me this way, as if I didn't exist.

My love, my life, and my Avni are acting as if I'm a complete stranger to her. It's disheartening to see my mother trying to have open conversations with her, hoping to build a closer bond, but unfortunately, nothing seems to be working.

My grandparents, my dad, and my brother all attempted to communicate with her, hoping she would at least grant me an opportunity to explain everything. However, she remains unwilling to listen to me all at once.

It was three days before I decided to talk to her again.

Flashback

I entered the bedroom being completely tired, as I just signed 10 more projects today.

I loosened my tie and went towards the couch, which was placed in front of the bed. I sat on the couch and leaned backwards, completely spreading my arms, and I rested my head on it. I closed my eyes as I heard a shower voice from the bathroom; she must be taking a shower.

I feel like it's so stressful. I also got to know about Abhay's brother, who is burning for revenge for his brother's murder.

I didn't pay attention, as I know he can't do anything to anyone in my family. Avni is already under so much protection.

And the whole mansion is covered with my best bodyguards; they wouldn't let anything happen to the family members.

I heard the click sound of the bathroom door. I opened my eyes and fell on her freshly taken shower face. She was absolutely breath-taking as always.

Her gaze met mine, but immediately she lowered her lashes and walked towards the bed. She laid down on the bed, pulled the duvet, and covered herself completely until her forehead.

I took a deep breath, and after taking my clothes from the closet, I went inside the bathroom.
