ADVIKA'S POV

"I need to leave Avni."

"W-what, where, are you fine?" I managed to ask him suddenly why he was leaving. I didn't understand. I looked at him from head to toe; he looked completely exhausted. A concern washed over me.

"I have to go on a business trip. I really don't know for how many days, but as soon as I settle everything, I will inform you that you don't need to stress yourself. Please, Avni, and yes, don't do any work. I also hired a driver; he will drop you off and pick you up from college. Do not tell anyone that you are married; behave like you used to, okay, and I love you so much."

He finished in one go and started packing his clothes in a hurry, and finally he stopped and our gaze met each other. I wanted to cry. I don't know, but I feel that something is wrong. He held my neck and slowly pulled me towards him. He leaned forward and placed his lips on the corner of my lips. My whole body shivered with his sudden movement. He moved back and kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly in his embraces. It took me some time to realize my state. I hugged him back, wrapping my arms around his back.

"Told that maid to apply ointment on your back every single day without skipping and also take your medicine on time. I will try my best to come earlier, okay, Avni?"

I nodded while shutting my eyes to prevent any drops of tears from my eyes. He detached his body and kissed my forehead before moving to the main door. I also took my step behind him.

"Don't forget to have a proper meal, Sam."

I muttered while trying to control my outburst. He nodded before leaving. I quickly went to the bedroom and saw him leaving. I wanted until he reached there. I saw his moving car from the window. Within seconds, the car disappeared. Soon, I sat on the bed and started sobbing. I felt something was wrong here but didn't know what. I leaned over the bed, and my tears continued to flow from my eyes. I don't know when I fell asleep after crying and sobbing for a long time.

I wake up with a jerk, continuously someone knocking on the door. I stand up from bed and go to the door. I open the door, seeing a woman looking like she is in her 40s; maybe she is her.

"Actually, sir appointed me for household work, ma'am." She said it with a smile. I smiled too and moved aside to give her space. She entered inside, and I closed the door.

"Come, what's your name?, And yes, don't call me ma'am, just Advika," I uttered while walking with her and leading her towards the kitchen.

"Reema didi, and sir strictly told me to call ma'am." She muttered in a low voice and started doing her work, and when she mentioned him again, I felt heavy in my chest.

"Okay, if you need any help, call me, Reema Didi," I said, and we moved to our bedroom to take a shower.

Soon I take a shower, wear a blue kurti with jeans, watch, and hide my nuptial chain inside my kurti and wear a scarf around my neck. I pick up my bag and leave the room. She is already done with her work, and she started serving me when I said.

"I can manage; come; you also have breakfast with me." She immediately shook her head negatively, and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"No, ma'am, I'm fine. You enjoy." She muttered in a low voice and lowered her gaze. Everything is so different here; Sam left without giving me proper information, and now her behaviour sounded so professional, like we watch in movies.

I quickly complete my breakfast and leave the house. When I came out of the building, a driver was already waiting for me in front of a brand new car. He greeted me, I wished him back, and I got inside the car in the back seat. Soon, I reached in front of my college. I came out of the car and said,

"Bye, bhaiya," he smiled before I entered.

"Hey idiot, Where were you for so many days, and you didn't even tell me? You should have at least sent me a message saying that you were not unwell, or are you fine? Did you show it to the doctor?"

My best friend Pragati shouted from behind me, and with that, everyone around us started staring at us. I turned back and said,.

"Actually, my phone was broken and there was a little drama at home. Leave all this for now. I will tell you later and tell me what happened in college when I take leave." I completed and looked at her. She stared at me back.

"Tell me now, not later, what happened." Being frustrated, she uttered, and I furrowed my eyebrows and signed. She is not a person who I'll handle easily.

"Please, Pragati," I pleaded.

"Okay, just because you are going to tell me later." She muttered cutely with pouted lips. We both giggled and entered our college. We moved to our class room when Peon came.

"Advika principal, sir, calls you in his office; after your class ends, you go to meet him." He completed it in his stern tone and went from there. I gulped nervously. Now what did I do?

"I haven't done anything; will he suspend me?" I started biting my nails out of stress, and she suddenly slapped my hand and glared.

"Nothing will happen; always think positive."
She tried to convince me with her word, but right now nothing feels right, but still.

I nodded, and we both entered our class room. The class was almost normal as usual, or, in other words, I was so distracted that I was afraid of going to the principal's office. Everyone started leaving as soon as class was over, and I and Pragati were taking steps towards the principal's office.

"Wait for me; don't you dare if you move from here; I'll kill you." I uttered in a warning tone to Pragati; she nodded, and I knocked on the door for permission before I entered the room. He gave me permission. I entered the room, and someone was already sitting on a chair in front of the principal, sir. I can't see his face.

"Good morning, sir. What do you call me?" I muttered while looking at Sir and that man's back facing me.

"Yes, actually, I have good news for you," the principal said with joy. I looked at him in confusion, waiting for the next sentence. Absorbing my confused expression, he uttered.

"The biggest trustee of this college wants to give you a scholarship." For a second, I can't understand what is going on here. I tried so many times for a scholarship, but I didn't get it, and because my family didn't want me to continue my studies, that's why I'm trying my best to get it.

"Sorry, sir, but please, can you repeat it one more time?" I asked again. Right now, I really wanted to give Sam a Sam a tight hug; if he was here, he would be happier than me.

"You get a scholarship, Advika Sen," he said with more happiness. I gulped nervously, and I felt a lump form in my throat.

"Who is giving me a scholarship? I would like to say thank you to them, sir," I asked with hope and respect for him.

"He is already here, Mr. Sanjay Singh Thakur, sir he is the one who chose you to give a scholarship,"

He cleared, and that person turned towards me and gave me a genuine smile. I don't know, but it feels homely. I smiled and said.

"Thank you so much, sir I'm really grateful for this," He looked at me and smiled. I lowered my gaze to the floor.

"Study hard and make us proud, Advika daughter,"

He uttered softly his words sound so pure. I nodded. He stood from his chair and came in front of me, gently placing his hand on my head. I slowly lifted my head and looked at him.

"Take care of yourself,"

Saying this, he went out. I looked at the principal, sir, and he gave me permission to go. I quickly went out. Pragati is still waiting for me.

I told her everything she is extremely happy for me. We both finished our classes and went out the driver already waiting for me. Before I left, Pragati stopped me from taking steps towards the car.

"When did your father start sending a car to pick you up?" She asked in shock and with widening eyes, O god, I totally forgot about this.

"I will tell you later who sent this to pick me up. Okay, darling, let's go together," I immediately replied without thinking twice. I tried to cover this.

"No, no, thank you, ma'am. I'm happy with my scooter. I don't need that. Enjoy your car and don't skip college. Everything feels boring without you," She dramatically finished, and we both left for home.

I reached home and freshened up. I ate my lunch and took a nap. I did my usual routine to avoid missing him.

It feels so hard to divert my mind. Around 11 p.m., I lay on my bed. Soon, my thoughts broke with the sound of my phone.

"How is my squirrel?"
