ADVIKA'S POV

I opened my eyes after crying for two straight hours. I started thinking about my future. What if I get married to that unknown man? Is he also going to make my life like hell? I want to get married with only my Sam.

"Sam, I need to contact him," I muttered to myself. I started searching for a phone, but as usual, my so-called luck, last night my mother took my phone with her.

"Dhriti, Dhriti can help me,"

I started taking my steps towards the door, but as I tried to open it, it's locked. I started banging on the door like a crazy woman. I lost all my hopes, seeing my situation right now.

There is no reply. I continued banging on the door, but it looks like they have all become deaf.

"Please open the door,"

I pleaded and started sobbing. I sat on the floor and pulled my legs closer to my chest, and I hid my face on my lap. Soon, my sobbing turned louder, and I again banged on the door.

Again, no response. I know my aunt makes sure that Dhriti cannot come here because she is the one who tries to help me that's why they never allow her to come. I moved back to my bed and sat down with a thud..

Around 1 pm, I heard a knock on the door, obviously to inform me that someone was coming inside because they had already locked this room.

I didn't reply, but I heard that person open the door, and it's my mother. She came inside the room with a plate in her hand.

She sat next to me in bed and raised her hand I didn't look at her.

"Eat your meal you didn't eat anything in the morning this is not good for your health,"

She said it with a blank expression, like she didn't know anything about what'd happened a few hours ago.

"Do you really care about me, seriously?"

I uttered sarcastically, and with a bitter expression on my face, she raised her eyebrows.

"No doubt, I definitely care about you, Advika," she said with thinned brows. While caressing my cheeks, I turned my face.

"O really, if you care about me, then you never take his side, like I will never be your daughter you can't marry me off to an unknown person whom I don't even know,"

I said it a little bit louder and moved my body to the side, directly looking into her eyes.

She moved her gaze away from me, and after two minutes of silence, she finally broke the silence.

"Your father knows his family very well he is a very nice person to be your partner. Try to understand that I know you love someone forget him, Advika,"

She finished without any emotions they definitely became heartless people. She was still looking at the floor, but to my surprise, how did she get to know about him?

"You know that I love someone?" I asked, being in pure shock at her words.

"Yes, I know, but I don't want to know about him," She said furiously. Finally,  she moved her gaze to meet mine.

"I love him still, you want me to marry someone else,"

I asked her in a slow voice, feeling like soon I would burst out crying, but I tried to control my emotions.

"After getting married to that person soon, you forget him," She muttered with concern in her voice, and I gritted my teeth.

"Now, don't try to convince me I will make my own way," I said furiously while standing from the bed.

"You behave like a stubborn person; we never taught you this," She shouted while grabbing my arms roughly, and I hissed in pain.

"Eat your meal, get ready for the marriage the day after tomorrow we are going to leave for Banaras,"

She announced sternly that she was looking for my response, but when I didn't react, she left.

I sat on the bed with a thud sound, and soon, unknowingly, my tears made their way to my cheeks.

I harshly wipped my tears and started thinking, What should I do next? I hug my knees and hide my face in them.

After some time, I moved my face from my knees and looked at the side table there was a meal plate on it.

I leaned backward and closed my eyes. From the corners of my eyes, tears slipped out. With continuous sobbing, I didn't know when I fell asleep.

Suddenly, I opened my eyes when I felt someone continuously shaking my arm in an emergency.

I looked at the person there, who was none other than Dhriti, and suddenly I hugged her and muttered.

"Thank you so much, Dhriti, for coming. Please do something. I don't want to get married, please, Dhriti,"

I pleaded while tightly hugging her she also placed her hand on my back and started caressing.

"Di, they also took my phone and strictly told me to stay away from this matter," She managed to say with a shaking voice. She is breathing heavily.

"How did you manage to come here?" I asked with concern; I don't want her to suffer because of me.

"Right now we don't have time for a question and answer session we will discuss this later. Come with me without uttering a single word,"

She said, holding my right palm in her and dragging me with her, my eyebrows furrowed in a line with confusion.

"Where are we going?" I asked, taking steps with her, and she kept walking towards the room.

"Few seconds ago, I told you, don't ask me anything, and again, you," She said, frustrated.

"Okay, now I don't utter a single word," I said, keeping my finger on my lips.

"Good girl," She muttered, giving me a sweet smile. I smiled back at her.

She started dragging me to my parents room before we entered, she said.

"Look, your phone and my phone are kept in the wardrobe by her, and we have to take them back, understand?"

She said, moving her hand like she was indicating the plan. I nodded immediately and looked around here and there.

"Where are they?" I asked, and she took a deep breath and said,.

"They are all planning for your marriage in the living room," I exhaled deeply and closed my eyes for a few seconds.

"Are you sure they didn't find us?" I asked her, and she immediately nodded.

"Let's go," We both said together and entered the room while continuously looking back.

We started taking a silent step towards their wardrobe, and when we finally reached there, Dhriti slowly opened the wardrobe and started searching for a phone.

After five minutes, she finally found our phone. She looked at me and smiled, and I smiled back to her.

She forward my phone in front of me. I take it and press the switch button. Soon, the phone switches on.

I directly called Sam, but he didn't pick up. Desperately,  I called him again, but the result was the same. Getting frustrated, I started typing.

Message: "Sam, my family is forcing me to get married they took my phone and caged me in a room. I don't know after this I will be able to contact you. As soon as you get this message, try to do something, please, Sam,"

I sent it to him, but before I did something else, I heard.

"What are you both doing here?"
