"I think I love you." He whispered, his voice raw.
I pulled my head back to look at him, to gaze into those alluring red eyes. They were full of emotion, full of fear, full of love, full of unspoken words.
"I know that I love you." I replied simply...

"Remember the plan." Shoto whispered as we approached the large Japanese manor. It had been repaired in all its traditional glory. I raked my eyes over the scene and was agitated by how impressed I was by it all. Even the mossy gardens seemed perfect despite having been partially aflame a few weeks back.
"Yeah. I got it." I grumbled. I knew what I had to do. I knew what was involved.
"You sure you want to do this?" He asked, his lips pursed in a tight line.
I brushed the lapels of my black suit jacket. "Thats the third time you've asked." I grunted.
"Because you reek of alcohol. How much have you had to drink?" I could tell he was seething but he was trying his best to contain his frustration.
"I told you already not to worry about it. It's all part of the plan."
"Whose plan?" He whisper shouted. "I don't remember instructing you to get drunk before we walked into the wolves den!"
A soft chuckle left my lips. "Shoto, I have my own style and you have yours."
"What does that even mean?" He looked exasperated and I could see that he was weighing up calling off the mission.
"Look. Just trust that I'm doing what I need to do in order to play my part just like I'm trusting you to do yours."
Shoto sighed in resignation and dropped it, opting to believe my intentions. I wasn't lying to him either it was part of the plan... I mean sure at first I was just having a glass of whiskey for the nerves but then that one glass seemed to multiply... and then I realised it'll probably make more sense for me to be a little less sober for this event. I'm in character that's all.
As we approached the entrance I counted the guards standing in their all black outfits and serious expressions. I noted their patrols around the large manor and the sheer force of security told me the Yakuza were not taking any chances on another attack tonight.
"There are a lot more guards than we expected. You sure you can get away from them?" It was my turn to question Shoto's methods for the night to which he shrugged.
"I'm trusting you so you need to trust me. Isn't that what you just said?" He didn't wait for me to say anything as he strode toward the entrance and handed the invitation to the woman at the door. She was taller than average with green complexion and ice white hair. Just like the rest of the staff she wore a modest black dress that stretched down her calf.
"Welcome, thank you for coming." She muttered politely. I didn't miss the fluttering of lashes as she gazed up at Shoto longer than necessary. Shoto thanked her politely and waltzed in, oblivious to the very interested woman's wanting stare. I followed in after him after flashing the same woman my invitation. She gave me a similar once over to the one she had given Shoto, but unlike him I rather enjoyed the attention and rewarded her with a wink. She blushed a bright shade of pink as she giggled flirtatiously.
