"Stay quiet and don't speak unless spoken to around others." It was morning now and after going home for a few hours of sleep Shoto and I were at the Yakuza Manor dressed in full body carbon fibre textured suits. Mine was black and red, Shoto's black and white and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to breathe in these helmets.
Idina was dressed in an elegant black, pinstriped high-neck dress that clung to her curves gracefully and finished past her knees with black stilettos to match. Half her hair was pulled back into a claw clip, with the rest falling low down her back. There were a few strands that framed her face and I couldn't help but swallow at the sudden dryness in my throat at the sight of her. She looked more than just classy, she looked like she ran a billion dollar company. I guess once she marries Kai Chisaki she will... I pushed that thought to the back of my head, trying to focus on whatever was coming out of her lips.

"Got it?" She finished with a raised brow. Shoto and I simply nodded. No speaking. Sure, whatever.

"Alright." She whispered as she opened the door wider, an invitation for us to enter. We followed in after her keeping a few paces distance. We looked every bit the role of Idina's new guard dogs. As we followed her across the foyer and turned into the grand dining room I noticed the villain sitting at the head of the rectangular table eating breakfast. Chisaki.
He glanced up, eyes taking in Idina with a hunger that made me bite down. When his eyes found Shoto and I, I immediately noticed the thought on his brow.

"What do we have here?" He asked dipping his chin toward us. Idina shrugged casually as she took slow, seductive steps towards him that made my blood boil.

"My new guard dogs." She purred as she propped herself up on the table beside his plate and began picking at his fruit.

"It's bad manners to sit on tables Isana." Chisaki had an amused glint to his eyes as he peered up at the beauty stealing his blueberries off his plate and throwing them into her mouth.

She shrugged once more. "It's also bad manners to wage war against a powerful enemy without being properly prepared, and yet you don't seem to mind."

Chisaki laughed at that as he rolled his shoulders while leaning into his chair. He was dressed in a black satin shirt, Gucci belt and black dress pants. He oozed money but in front of Idina he seemed so relaxed.

"Isana. Is that why you hired new guards? Because you're worried about the outcome?"

"I hired new guards because I need them. Being worried about the outcome is part of my job."

Chisaki laughed softly once more.

"I mean it Chisaki. I don't think it's a good idea to rush into this. You said last night three days. Now you want to move it forward to tomorrow. We aren't ready."

Wait what? He wants to attack tomorrow? But we haven't found the telepath! It's too soon!

"Isana." Chisaki peered up at her, his expression hardening as he suddenly turned serious. "He attacked my home. If my enemies believe that my home can be at risk how will that make me look? Not only that but you could have been hurt."

"But I wasn't-"

"But you could have been. What kind of message does it send the underworld that my home and fiancé can be put to risk without consequence?"

"There will be consequences. But not until we are ready." She tried again. "I am your general. Listen to me. We may have high numbers but with someone like him, we don't know who he has in his back pocket. This is not a whim. We need to prepare."

Chisaki mulled over her words. He truly seemed to be listening to her advice. It crossed my mind then that Chisaki might actually respect Idina, might actually care for her words of guidance and wisdom...
