Based on the film of the same name.

The film itself is good, but this?

No, no, no. Not good.

Just more licensed children shlock.

And the thing is, it is a water-based game, for what it's worth anyway, and we are playing as the main characters, so it should at least feel different than other games.

However, do you know what we are doing in the first level of the game as Nemo himself?

Meeting his friends and on the way there, in the open ocean, flying through bubble rings.

Rings.

Because going through rings is fun, right?

I presume most people couldn't get far in this game as young children, including yours truly, due to the first level where you play as Merlin, Nemo's father, chasing Dory from running away upon her short-term memory loss causing her to forget who he is like in the movie.

Unlike the earlier levels, this one required at least some semblance of skill to complete, as there was a timer in it and failing could force you back to a checkpoint much earlier, hence, kids not being able to go much further.

Also, the game does not run well at all to my knowledge, chugging and chugging...

I also somewhat recall the gameplay and controls to be rather lackluster as well.

Bad. Do not buy.
