A 2.5D side-scroller shooter with Doom-like elements.

Some credit where credit is due, it is pretty much one of the only 2D (or 2.5D) shooters on the system, minus something like Alien Hominid (A game I haven't played unfortunately).

However, it's abundantly clear that this game was made on a shoestring budget.

Still, for a cheap game, it isn't half bad.

You're a space marine shooting aliens with a Doom-like keycard system in order to access doors and elevators (Not very creative, no?).

...Which is pretty much it.

In some levels you fight bosses in a room, shooting into the background while you just move and strafe around, I suppose.

Although, a big issue I have with it is that all the levels look pretty much the same. Each level is rather expansive, but all the hallways in one look exactly like the others in the same stage, making traversal incredibly confusing. Because of this, I spent a longer time than I should in this game simply due to no distinct locations or even a good sense of direction, as I'm backtracking quite a lot.

Not a very exceptional game, but given that there is so little of these types of games on the Cube, some curiosity wouldn't hurt given that this game is rather inexpensive and is pretty much forgotten by everybody today, including yours truly.
