Hello everyone! CaptainMemes here!

So...out of the blue, I decided to put together a tier list of all the Nintendo GameCube games I've played!

And honestly, it's quite massive.

I think the number of games I ranked in the tier list is about 135 different games!

Now that's quite a lot!

And so, with some thought, I decided to place this ranking, among others, on this site!

With my unique perspective with my overly detail-oriented mind, I'll analyze the ones I can, along with recommendations on games to play, including some hidden gems!

However, there's bound to be many hot takes as well, but all rankings in this list is a matter of my opinion, so no flames!

Regardless, there must be some groundwork set in order to fully grasp onto the standards I believe the game should have.

First, there are many things we will be taking a glance at, with the quality of the game a main point, but also many other traits, such as how well the game itself has aged and its price point, as GameCube games are incredibly expensive today and continue to rise in cost.

For example, Super Smash Brothers: Melee, the best-selling GameCube game, goes for at least a full price game from today's day and age (>$60 US Dollars)!

Utterly ridiculous!

Anyways, as such, the ability to play these games will be greatly hampered by their price point, with only their quality being able to justify purchasing them.

Another parameter of ordering these is if I've played them completely or not. For the vast majority of them, I have completed, but for others, I've only scratched the surface of their length.

And so, I will be ranking them based on my own experiences and explain them the best I could, so some, especially the lower tiers, will be breezed through.

Seriously, I don't think anybody has the time to hear if shovelware licensed games like Finding Nemo are good or not.

However, as a result from this limitation, there are many games I cannot rank as...well, I haven't played them yet.

Notable games include:

F-Zero GX

Killer7

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour

Mario Power Tennis

The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning

Chibi-Robo

Viewtiful Joe 2

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle

XIII

Pikmin

Pokémon Colosseum

I am also looking at these games from a modern lens, as I judge a game based on how fun it is to play today, not back then, as games I've played as a child likely won't be so good now.

I am a gameplay-oriented player, so as long as a game is fun and unique from the pack, I'm satisfied.

Also, these are based on MY opinion, which will have many hot takes.

Some games just don't...click with me like many people say should.

However, I could also bring to light some forgotten hidden gems that I can't help but recommend to GameCube connoisseurs out there while giving my own perspective on video games with such a shocking amount of detail when it counts, it'll be ludicrous!

Also, time also plays a major factor, as like all things, opinions will change over time, so this list is subject to change.

And so, with that out of the way, onto the foreword!

Afterall, I must voice my thoughts about the system as a whole first...
