As I stood there, facing David once again, a wave of emotions washed over me. It had been a while since we last spoke, and the memories of our past interactions came flooding back. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of longing, a desire to go back to the way things were when our relationship was still intact.
But as I looked into his eyes, I saw a glimmer of something that made my heart sink. It was a reminder that, despite my hopes, David had not changed. The same flaws and shortcomings that had driven us apart were still there, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of despair.
I wanted to believe that he would change, that he would see the error of his ways and make amends. But as I stood there, facing him once again, I realized that change was not something that could be easily achieved. It took time, effort, and a genuine desire to make things right.
That moment when you realize that it was over and you can’t do anything when you miss the way he treated you from the start but you wish to have a better life and be happy with peace.
“ David... Anong ginagawa mo dito? ” I asked.
Yung galit na mukha niya kanina ay biglang nagbago. “ Tin... Babe, I’m sorry. Magbabago na ako. ” Lumuhod siya sa harapan ko at hinawakan ang kamay ko habang ang mga mata niya at puno ng pagmamakaawa.
“ What the hell are you doing here, David? ” Biglang sumulpot si Andrei kaya napatingin kami sa kanya.
“ Go away, Andrei. ”
“ Ikaw ang umalis. ” Inalis niya ang kamay ni David sa kamay ko at tinulak si David.
Tumayo si David at nakatanggap naman ng suntok si Andrei mula kay David at nagsimula na silang mag-away.
“ Andrei! ” Inawat ni Aly si Andrei at ako naman ay inawat si David.
“ Umalis kana dito, David. Wag kang gumawa ng gulo. ” He just stood up and left.
“ Ano bang ginagawa mo Andrei? Bat kapa gumagawa ng gulo?! ” Sabi ko na may halong irita sa boses ko.
“ Me? Baka nakakalimutan mo Tin siya ang naunang gumawa ng gulo dito. Kung hindi pa siguro ako dadating baka binalikan mona siya. ” Sabi niya na may halong sama ng tingin sakin. Well, he’s right.
I got home and apologized to Aly for the trouble and she told me that it was fine and there was no problem. When I got home, I just cleaned my room and I don’t have much to do so I just lie down.
Biglang bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Baste sa kwarto ko. “ Wow nakahiga lang siya dyan ohh. ” Baste said nakataas pa talaga ang kilay.
“ At ano naman ang kaylangan ng gwapo kong kapatid? ” I asked nakataas din ang kilay.Patarayan kami dito!
“ Sino yung lalaki na nasa mall? ” Tanong niya at umupo sa kama ko katabi ko.
“ Ano kasi Kuya... Ex ko... ” Napa weird smile nalang talaga ako at napakamot sa ulo! Unexpected yung itatanong niya ahh?
“ Bat kayo nagbreak? ” Tanong niya ulit.
Doon palang sa tanong niya ay nakaramdam nako ng kirot sa puso ko dahil ayoko nang alalahanin lahat ng nangyari at kung anong dahilan kung bat kami naghiwalay. Masakit lang alalahanin.
I kept quiet and just looked at him while he was also looking at me and waiting for my answer. He really wants to know huh?
“ Niloko kaba? ” Hindi kona alam nararadaman ko sa tanong niya na yun.
Hindi na ako nakasagot sa kanya at nakatingin nalang sa unan pero maya maya at lumapit pa siya sakin at binigyan ako ng isang yakap.
“ Thankyou. ” I said.
