Chapter Twenty Eight

A day later, Ashwin slowly closed the main door behind him and walked inside Dhanalakshmi's house. It was eleven thirty in night. Saradha slept with Dhanalakshmi in her room while Sivaangi was upstairs.

Ashwin came home half an hour ago and was supposed to be in his room. But he had other plans. He quietly went upstairs, holding the bag in his hand behind his bag. He walked to Sivaangi's room and knocked.

On hearing the knock, puzzled, Sivaangi looked up from her mobile. Noticing the time, she expected it to be Ashwin. Instinctively a smile bloomed on her face. She hurried on her feet and opened the door.

"Ashwinn!" Sivaangi whispered yelled, her excitement visible on her face.

"Ma, modha ulla varen. Thallu" Ashwin looked back once before looking at Sivaangi with a smile.

(I'll come inside first. Move)

Sivaangi paved way for Ashwin to walk in and close the door behind her. She saw him sitting down on her bed.

"Inneram inga yenna panringa?" Sivaangi asked walking towards Ashwin.

(What are you doing here, at this time?)

"Yean ma, unna pakalam nu vandha ipdi kekura?" Ashwin blinked at Sivaangi making her chuckle.

(I came here to see you and you are asking like this?)

"Haiyoo, adhu illa Ashwineyy. Koncham munna dhana veetuku vandhen nu sonninga. Adhan inneram inga yepdi vandhinga? Yenna achu?"

(Heyy, I didn't mean it like that Ashwineyy. You said you came back home half an hour ago. That's why I asked how you came here. What happened?)
