Chapter Thirty Four

Sivaangi thanked the shopkeeper and placed the puffed rice balls sweetened with jaggary inside the basket. Ashwin has reached Coimbatore that morning. He went to Sanjay's to finish up a work and informed Sivaangi that he will be home by late evening. Meeting him nearly after a month excited her. She decided to do something special for him.

Since there wasn't much work to do that day, Sivaangi checked with the stock arrival and wind up her work around eleven. She cleaned her room and after a refreshing bath, she dressed up and went to the batter shop.

Sivaangi helped Saradha with some accounts work and had lunch with her. Sathish came to take Saradha to Coimbatore. Sivaangi bid her bye and decided to head home. That's when she thought she will buy their favourite midnight snack.

Heading inside, Sivaangi saw Dhanalakshmi sleeping. Keeping the things she bought for the house and with a snack packet in hand, she climbed up the stairs. She checked if Ashwin has texted. Her lips curled when he sent her his selfie where he was winking at her.

Sending few kiss emojis as reply, Sivaangi opened her room door and closed it behind her. When she lifted her gaze from her mobile, she was shocked to see Ashwin lying down on her bed with a book in his hand.

"Ashwin!" Sivaangi exclaimed in excitement and Ashwin peaked out from behind the book, smiling at her.

Sivaangi beamed at Ashwin but her smile faded and her eyes widen when she realized what book he was holding in his hands. Her frown deepened when she saw two more books on the bed.

"Aahhh!!!" Dropping her mobile and snack packet on the ground, Sivaangi screamed and rushed to Ashwin who jumped off the bed at opposite side with the book still in his hand while Sivaangi gathered the other two book in her hands.

'Haunting Adeline and Twisted Love! Pochu! Pochu! Maaname pochu!!' Sivaangi cursed herself mentally as she threw the books away from the eyesight.
