Chapter 26 part 1

Seonghwa's POV 

    The week passed and Saturday rolled around. Yunho had promised to take a day off so that we will ba able to hang out, not excluding his husband. There was another festival in town as the day of the ball was coming. Yunho had told me that the ball day will be officially announced in two weeks' time, as there had been a delay.

   It was all over the news when the announcements broke out. I usually didn't follow the news as closely, but I understood the panic and worry that many participants of the ball felt.

    The newspaper had got into detail that the preparations for the ball had to be extended as a few important people couldn't make it for the original date. And due to how influential that family was, the royal family had postponed it.

    Everyone speculated that the princess of that family was the chosen wife for the prince due to the special delay. Yunho explained that delaying a ball for reasons not marked as a national threat are hard to get permission.

    People thought that the news were just a ploy to cover up the internal conflict of the Royal family, maybe the prince was not ready to marry and was making everyone wait.

    However, the news did not deter the citizen from celebrating the ball, so they kept throwing festivals in different locations.

    It was tradition, Mingi explained. As the day of the ball approached, everyone just wanted to enjoy themselves the before the event. There is a saying that if you meet a partner during the festival's two weeks before the ball, they will be the one to meet at the ball and soon be married to them.

    There were countless testimonies to this myth becoming the sole reason to the increase of festivals before the grand ball. A great marketing tool for the festivals and circus owners and entertainment strategy for the local people of the city.

     The festival was going to begin in a few hours later as they wanted to display fireworks. Yunho and Mingi had invited me and I decided to join them, even though it will clearly be hell since I would end up being the third wheel to their date. I was hoping to get some time to venture on my own around the festival and try things I have never done before.

   Since Yunho had the day off and Mingi was a stay at home husband, they dragged me along to do grocery shopping and to purchase a few furniture items for their home.

    We spent the time sampling food at the market, buying a few treats for our film nights, before heading to a store to buy the rest of the groceries need for the house. Usually Mingi would have done grocery shopping during the week , but he had left it on purpose so that he could spend it with Yunho.

    In fact, Mingi and Yunho decided that the store was the perfect place to play catch and me having the trolley chasing after them, to get them to quiet down and focus on the actual shopping. They also wanted to be more serious about the situation. It would have been hilarious if I wasn't part of it, earning a few glares from employers and the public alike.

    After paying and carrying the groceries to the car, Yunho drives us to Iddea. It is the biggest furnishing company in the country, for it good quality and large range of products , the perfect place to find matching furniture for the aesthetics of your home. And the place which Yunho and Mingi decided to become actors.

   Not even a minute into the store, they went to the Children section, to use the props there such as magic wands, soft animals and whatnot to act out a random scene heir heads and improvises along. Mingi became the sugar plum fairy distant relative called Sugar Peach with her treasured sidekick, Yunho. They had the mission will enchant the forest to re-balance the dark quarters so that they can purify it.

    The two grown men jumped up and down some beds before getting yelled at by the store's employees, then running off to do worse. Then, when we headed to the adult section, they will start acting as if they were home, but I had to take up the role of the baby.

    We were getting strange looks from everyone and I couldn't help hiding my face, even though the cloak was already doing its job as they kept trying to feed me.

"Say AH, Baby. Yunho-bear, Our baby won't eat ", Mingi said, with a pout.

"Do the aeroplane, Mingi-ah ", Yunho responded with his back turned to us , doing his duties.

"Say aaaaaaaaaah!"

    I fake ate the food, with my face still covered, earring praises from Mingi, the loving father he was trying to portray.

    It took a while to get done with the shopping list, and by the time we checked out, my face was in flames. And I was constantly trying to erase the embarrassing moments I had felt in a few hours .

    Yunho had hired a team to pack up all the stuff in their van to drive off to our house, and we drove back to the house . Packing up took a bit of a and when we were one advecting furniture such as a small desk for me in my room. A few star lamps that Mingi wanted to have since he could not sleep well in the dark. A new desk which you could alter the height for Yunho along with a spiny chair for him with the adjustable back.

The items that were old were carried to the garage at the back of the house.
