Meg stood up, turning off the shower. She wrapped her arms around Aliya, pulling her into a tender embrace. The water droplets clung to their skin, glistening in the bathroom light.

Aliya and Meg woke up early because Aliya needed to go to school. Meg decided to work at the Starbucks in front of Aliya's school since she didn't need to be on-site or at her office, and she always had her laptop with her anyway. They went together to Starbucks to have breakfast before starting their day. They sat beside each other, with Meg already working on her laptop, the hum of the cafe adding a cozy background to their morning.

"Uwi muna akong house pagkahatid ko sayo later ha, baby?" Meg said after sipping her hot caramel macchiato, making Aliya pout. Meg quickly stole a kiss on her lips, causing Aliya to lightly hit her and scan the area to see if anyone saw.

"Ikaw—Baka may makakita. Di pa nga kita sinasagot," Aliya said, her eyes showing a playful warning.

"Dami na ngang nangyari sa 'tin. Parang tayo na nga eh," Meg teased, her eyes twinkling.

"Heh! Ewan ko sayo. Tsaka wala kaming training for a week eh may sakit si coach," Aliya said.

"Gusto mong sumama sa 'kin?" Meg said, smiling wider.

"Hmm, pwede naman. Online class nalang din ako for the rest of the week eh," Aliya replied, but her gaze fell on Meg's laptop. She started reading what was written on the document, curiosity piqued.

"Love, ano yan?" Aliya pointed at the laptop using her mouth.

Meg looked at her laptop and felt a twinge of nervousness. "Uhm, hehe, love story po natin," the redhead said.

"Diary? Bat may chapters?" Aliya asked, intrigued.

"Hmm, novel sana. Hobby ko kasi magsulat lalo pag inspired pero natitigil pag sobrang busy," Meg explained, feeling her heart race.

"Pwede kong basahin kahit konti lang?" Aliya asked, eyes gleaming with interest.

"Sure," Meg said, moving the laptop closer to Aliya.

Aliya started reading, her eyes darting across the screen, a smile slowly forming on her lips. She wanted to read more, but time was short as she had to go to class soon.

"Love! Papublish mo! Maganda!" Aliya exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Di ka galit?" Meg asked, frowning slightly.

"Bat naman ako magagalit? May ending ka na?" Aliya asked curiously, leaning closer.

"Wala pa. Story nga natin eh. Di mo pa nga ako sinasagot. Amp!" Meg said, pretending to be disappointed.

Aliya laughed softly, her heart warming at Meg's words. "Heh, ewan ko sayo," she said, giving Meg a quick peck on the cheek before grabbing her bag. "I'll go na. Ayoko malate."

Aliya and Meg arrived at the latter's house in Antipolo, where the sheer grandeur of the modern architecture and the breathtaking view left Aliya in awe. The house seemed to blend seamlessly into the natural beauty of its surroundings, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an uninterrupted view of the lush landscape and the distant city skyline.

"Grabe, love! Ang ganda nitong bahay mo!" Aliya exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in every detail.

"Magiging bahay mo rin 'to soon, baby," Meg whispered sweetly, wrapping her arms around Aliya from behind as they stood on the terrace, gazing at the infinity pool that appeared to spill over into the horizon.
