"Magkakilala nga kayo?" He asked.
"Nagkasama kami sa tour before," Meg said, after drinking her water.
"Don't tell me sa Coron yan," Ian said jokingly, but the two ladies fell silent.
"Ikaw?!" the brother exclaimed.
"Kuya," Aliya mumbled.
"I'm sorry for what my sister did. Hindi ka niya dapat iniwan dun," Ian said, holding Meg on the shoulder.
"Kuya naman eh," Aliya said again.
"Nagsorry ka na ba? Di ko pa rin kasi gets bat bigla kang umalis," Ian said, facing his sister. Aliya didn't mention that Meg was engaged during that time.
"Okay lang, Ian."
"Meg, Cali told me kung gaano ka nasaktan. Hindi ko alam na sa kapatid ko pala," Ian said, looking at Megan apologetically.
"Okay lang talaga, Ian. Naka move on na ako sa nangyari," Meg said, smiling. "Back to business?"
Bilis magmove on. Di naman masakit. Parang kagat lang ni Barney, Aliya told herself.
The three had finished eating, and Meg began discussing the next steps for their project.
As they stepped outside the building, Ian mentioned that he needed to return to his office. "Thank you, Meg! Take care!" he bid goodbye.
"Ikaw? San ka?" the redhead asked as she was left with Aliya.
"Ah sa condo lang, pwedeng lakarin. Magbihis muna ako tapos punta na 'ko sa QC for the rehearsal," Aliya answered.
"Hatid na kita," Meg offered.
"Sure ka? Di ka galit?" Aliya asked, feeling guilty.
"Wala na yun. Tara na sa parking," Meg said, then started walking.
The walk was quiet. Nagpipigil sila na wag hawakan ang kamay ng isa't isa.
When they reached the car, the engineer opened the door of the passenger seat for the idol.
Pafall talaga, Aliya thought.
Meg went to the driver's seat and said, "Let's go? Turo mo nalang."
"Sa Tuscany lang... nice car ah. Mustang na red pang pogi na red flag," Aliya said teasingly.
"Pogi lang," Meg said, smiling. "Hazard nalang ako dito ah. Hintayin na kita," she added as they arrived.
"Hahatid mo 'ko sa QC?" Aliya asked.
"Yes po."
Eto nanaman tayo sa mga po at opo niya. Nakakafall, Aliya told herself.
"Hmm, park mo nalang sa tabi ng parking slot ko. Samahan mo na 'ko sa taas," Aliya offered.
Meg parked to where Aliya told her and said, "Hihintayin naman kita kahit di mo ako yayain sa unit mo. Di naman kita iiwan tulad ng ginawa mo."
