"Okay lang. I just wanted you to know din. Good thing you asked. Para alam mo rin na una palang ikaw na talaga and you didn't ruin anything," Meg said gently, smiling as she caressed Aliya's face.
Time Skip
For the past two weeks, Molly and Meg had been spending a lot of time together. They frequently met for coffee, each meeting drawing them closer. Molly had confessed her feelings to Meg, expressing that she wanted to get to know each other on a deeper level and see if there was a chance for a relationship. Although nothing was officially defined between them, they both enjoyed each other's company. Despite this, Meg's mind and heart still longed for Aliya. She wanted to move on first and see if her feelings for Molly could grow into something more.
Before their flight, Molly accompanied Meg and Aliya to the airport, wanting to see Meg one last time before she left. Molly had wanted to join them on the trip, but it was her mom's birthday weekend. Despite feeling a twinge of jealousy, she knew that Meg and Aliya had already set their boundaries and were just friends.
"Wag kang mambababae dun ah!" Molly exclaimed, playfully hitting Meg on the arm, making the redhead chuckle.
"Hindi nga po. Thank you sa paghatid ah? Regards na lang kay tita," Meg said, then hugged Molly.
Aliya stood by, watching them, feeding on the pain to help herself move on from Meg and with her life.
"Ali, bantayan mo 'to!" Molly said, looking at her friend seriously.
"Ako nang bahala. Sasapakin ko agad kahit tumingin lang sa iba," Aliya said, chuckling, though deep inside she was hurting. She couldn't bear to watch when Molly leaned in to kiss Meg, even if it was just on the cheek.
Meg and Aliya arrived at their hotel in Thailand at 2:30 PM. Their room had two beds, and since they were only staying for three days, they decided to go shopping for pasalubong on the first day. With no time for a tour or other activities, shopping was the best way to make the most of their limited stay. After a brief rest, they would head out.
While lying on their separate beds, Aliya suddenly asked, "Kumusta naman kayo ni Molly?"
Meg looked over and smiled. "Okay naman kami. Masaya siya kasama."
"Wag mong sasaktan 'yung kaibigan ko ah?" the idol said.
"Hindi po," Meg replied sweetly. Aliya felt a pang of pain, sensing that Meg was developing feelings for her friend.
"Gusto mo na siya?" Aliya blurted out, immediately regretting it because she wasn't ready for Meg's response.
"Yeah, I like her naman from the start pa lang."
"Hindi 'yun ibig kong sabihin," Aliya clarified, even though she dreaded Meg's answer.
"Oh. Hmm... I'm enjoying her company. Siguro? Pero gusto ko sure na sure muna ako bago maging kami. Ayaw kong magsettle na eh porket ready yung tao. Gusto ko mainlove din talaga ako. Katulad nung sa atin before," Meg said, not realizing the impact of her words on Aliya.
When Molly confessed, she told Meg everything, that she didn't mind their age gap and was willing to give her everything she wanted if she could just give her a chance.
"Hmm... gets. Exclusive kayo?" the idol asked.
"Hindi? Wala pa talagang ganun," Meg clarified. "Sweet kami sa isa't isa. Touchy din kasi and clingy 'yung kaibigan mo eh."
Ouch, Aliya thought.
"Ahhh... nagkiss na kayo?" Aliya asked again, wanting to feel the full extent of her pain to move on faster.
