"Another round.", Eric said to coach and Jess. Of course, that's what he wanted to test. Without giving any chance for Jess to react and gather her thoughts he immediately requested the coach to start.

Jess was flustered right now, she was still trying to process the thought of Colin standing in her house. When the coach asked her to start she was lost in her thoughts and didn't listen, the coach said again this time a little louder that's when she was startled and got ready for the next round of shooting. Eric was observing this and he had a same devious smile on his face, as if this is what he had expected.

If one looked at the targets, all the shots that Jess took in this round looked perfect but Eric was paying more attention to the rhythm of her shots. Until now she had a steady rhythm but in this round it was more disturbed. One could easily figure out that she was upset as few of her shots were very aggressive. Eric smiled and thought," like father, like daughter". He was impressed and said to the coach without looking away from Jess and before turning around to leave, "She is ready. Prepare her for the tournament." Coach nodded and looked satisfied with himself.

"I will see you later Master Smith." Eric said to Colin and was about to leave but then he stopped, turned around and walked a little closer to Colin and said in a low tone, such that only Colin could hear, "I have let you in in our home because I understand you are a wise young man who thinks before he acts. I will be very disappointed if I found out some day that your life got ruined because of your actions."Eric smiled and turned around to leave but his actions sent shivers down Colin's spine. He understood the double meaning behind Eric's words, he was threatened to not reveal Jess's secret to anyone. He wasn't going to, but now he will never dream about it.

Meanwhile, Jess was packing up after her shooting class, she was still very upset and wanted to talk to her dad. After she was done packing, she saw that her dad had already left, she was now angry and frustrated. She was not going to let this go, but now she had to remain calm. She regained her composure and walked towards Colin, " Hi Colin. What brings you here?" She asked directly. She looked at her wrist watch and signaled him to walk with her.

"My apologies Jess. I didn't want to barge in uninvited." Colin said, understanding Jess's tone.

Jess was still a bit irritated, she continued,"that's ok, now that you are here, you will have many questions to ask."

Colin thought for a few seconds and then said,"not really, I don't want to know anything that does not relate with me."

They reached the main house after walking for a few minutes. Jess requested one of her servants to take Colin to the formal living room. After requesting Colin to excuse her, Jess directly went to her dad's study. She knocked on the door and waited for her dad to answer. She was running out of patience, she calmed herself, she didn't want to make any rash statements towards her dad. Her dad asked her to come in.

Jess walked in quietly and sat on one of the chairs in the study. She was quiet and didn't say anything. Her dad understood her concerns and sat next to Jess, turned her chair and made her face him.

"He is a smart young man, he will keep your identity a secret.", Eric said to Jess.

Jess nodded and got up to leave, she had so much to say, she wanted to shout and scream on top of her voice like any other teenage girl but she felt helpless. She was tired, so tired that tears were forming in her eyes. She was angry and for once she wanted to tell her dad that it was not fair. She didn't want to be a rich heiress but just wanted to be a normal person. She wanted to be herself at least in front of her parents when she was home. Suddenly, she stopped, she couldn't move forward, she froze on that spot.

Eric wanted Jess to express her emotions but she didn't say anything, she was just walking out of the room. This made Eric feel guilty and bad, he thought to himself if he was hard on his kids. He didn't want his kids to suppress their emotions, he was worried about Jess.

Jess turned around, and broke Eric's chain of thoughts by saying,"Dad, I am not a greedy person. If someday you tell me that I am no longer a heiress and a simple normal girl, I will be very happy. I am working hard and agreeing to your and mom's requests because I understand that all this is required because I am a heiress and you are only guiding me towards it. It's not that I don't understand your schemes and can't retaliate or negotiate, I do understand dad after all I have been taught by the best, you. I simply reason in my head and make peace with it." Jess was calm, exceptionally calm, after a long pause she said in a low voice, "Just like you taught me, sometimes I make a list of pros and cons of being a heiress and always end up with more cons than pros. Then I reason and convince myself to follow the path as it's been set by you.", Jess walked towards her dad who was now standing near his desk, looked down for couple of seconds and then looked back up directly into her dad's eyes, anyone could say that she let a tear out by looking down because she didn't want them to fall while she speaking, that would be a sign of weakness, she said, "Dad, I really wish that I am always able to convince myself, because you and me both will not want to see that day when I can't convince myself.". Jess turned around and left, while her dad was surprised. After a few seconds he smiled, this time it was a proud smile. He said to himself, "I will not let that happen, as there is no one who can fight the battle that the future holds better than you. I am so proud of you."

Jess went back to her room, she couldn't believe she threatened her dad, she was both scared and happy. She took a few seconds to calm down, then sent an email to Manager Wang and Secretary Park requesting 10 minutes due to an unexpected guest now sitting in her formal living room. She quickly changed into a business outfit for her finance lessons before going out.

She was dressed in a formal suit with Teal trousers, white blouse tucked in the trousers and a teal waist coat on top. Her curly hair was left open, falling on her shoulder and she wore high heeled white shoes which matched her formal outfit.

She walked confidently in the formal living room, Colin was waiting there and looking at his phone. He heard Jess's heels and looked at her, she looked completely different to how he was used to seeing her. She gave an aura of a confident and influential woman. Jess walked and sat on the couch opposite to Colin comfortably placing her 1 leg on top of another, "Sorry Colin. My schedule is quite busy, I won't be able to stay for long. Please tell me how I can help you." she asked him.

"I came here because I thought you worked on the farm with your poor parents and that's why you can't join us for camping. It's very important for a president to have a better tuning with the team, this will help us a lot next year. I was prepared to work on a farm with you to help cover up for those 2 days and hence try to convince your parents. Little did I know that no one can actually help you complete the work.", he said with a smirk.

"You don't need to worry about that, I will join you all on the camp. I have asked my parents for permission, and they agreed, I was going to post this in the group tonight. If that's all, I need to get back to my finance lessons. Feel free to stay but I won't be free until 5PM." Jess said and stood up to leave. She stopped, turned around and said to Colin, "Although I didn't ask you to come here, you came and created problems for me. Can I at least expect you to keep my identity a secret and forget about what you saw here. You achieved what you came for and that's all you should remember."

Colin was shocked when he heard Jess, she sounded different to how she normally was in school. She was decisive and ruthless, he will remember this and dare not cross her ever again.
