                        ¦¦~Eleanore~¦¦

"Eleanore." It sounded like a distance voice was calling me, "Eleanore." It got clearer and began sounding like my dad, "Eleanore." I opened my eyes to be met with my dad dressed in running clothes and I knew what was going to happen.

"Have you forgot about our Wednesday morning run?" He asked me and I groaned as I sat up, "It's Wednesday?" I asked him and he nod, "Get ready. And good morning, flower." He said before leaving my room.

My dad has trained me how to fight ever since I was seven. He says so I could be able to protect myself when I need to. And every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday we go on runs for extra training since he has already taught me all I need to know.

I got up from my bed and made my way to my closet, picking out my running clothes then made my way into the bathroom to get ready.

I walked out of the bathroom thirty or so minutes later and then I walked out of my room and made my way downstairs.

"Good morning, ma." I greeted my mom with a hug as she was cooking. "Morning." She greeted me back.

I let go of her then walked over to my dad who was standing by the door waiting for me. "Ready?" He asked and I nod then we walked out of the house.

I enjoyed our runs. Running relieves my stress when needed and is overall just calming.

"Good morning, Eleanore and Beckett." Mrs Arenson greeted us as we passed and we stopped as she continued talking, "I never got to thank you for the tomatoes, Beckett. Their are lovely." She began talking to my dad and I zoned out as I looked around.

When they had finished talking we continued running. While on our run we stopped a lot to talk to people which made it longer than usual.

As we were running back home we came across Mrs Evans trying to fight off a thief who looked like he was trying to steal her purse.

I looked at my dad and he nod knowing what I was thinking. Many people from afar looked to be coming her way to help.

I ran towards her and grabbed hold of the thief's wrist then twisted his arm behind his back causing him to let out a scream. He dropped her purse and she picked it up then he began attempting to fight me back.

I kneed him on the stomach and he fell on his knees with me still having his arm twisted behind his back. "Where I am from we respect other people and their personal space." I said to him and while having an expression of pain still managed to give me a glare.

As I was trying to keep him down as Mrs Evans called the police, who arrived a short while later and arrested the thief.

Mrs Evans hugged me and and everyone who was around began clapping. "Thank you so much Eleanore." She thanked me, "It's my pleasure. Goodbye have a great day."I said as I waved to her and she waved back to me.

I walked back to my dad who gave me a high five," That's my girl. "He said and I smiled." That dude was not that smart. I mean who even decides to commit a crime in broad daylight in a very public area where anyone could see them? "I scoffed and my dad laughed.

We continued on our run back home.

When we reached the house we both decided to go into the garden first and began watering the fruits, veggies and flowers.

" Good thing you two are back. Breakfast is ready, you are just in time. "My mom walked out into the backyard. And dad and I stopped watering and she walked back inside.

We put away the watering pots then made our way inside.

We took our seats and so did my mom, coming from the kitchen. The door opened as we were about to start eating and then closed. And Esme walked into the dining room.

"Good morning family." She greeted us then took a seat next to me and we greeted her back. "I was about to ask were you were. I almost thought you weren't coming this morning. " My mom said. "I actually had a really long morning running errands for my ma. Aunty I would never miss your cooking. " She said.

We all began eating and talking even though my mom warned strictly that no talking at the dining table.

After breakfast my mom made Esme and I come with her and Esme's mom to the market where we spent the whole day there, literally.
