Esme and I were walking home from giving out vegetables and fruits to the whole neighborhood as per my mom's instructions.

"That took forever." Esme said and I couldn't agree more. My mom made us go around the entire neighborhood house by house to give our vegetables and fruits for the whole day.

"All I want to do is go to sleep. Everything else can come after. " I said and she hummed in agreement.

Esme and I looked at each other as we turned the corner of my house and there were three black cars with the royal flag on one of them parked across the street from my house.

" Isn't that the royal cars? "Esme asked," Looks like it. "I answered and our confusion grew," What would-"Esme began but did not finish her sentence as we entered the house.

" Ma we are back."I said closing the door behind me. "In the living room. " She said and Esme and I made our way to the living and probably both getting the biggest shock as we find Prince Arthur sitting right there in front of us with three other people.

We looked at each and then around the room and my mom gave us a look and we knew we had to bow.

We both looked at each other then slightly bowed, "You Majesty." We said in sync, "No need.Good day." He greeted us, "Good day." We greeted him back in sync.

"Girls come take your seats." My mom said and we both made our way to sit down.

"Miss Eleanore, the Prince comes with an offer for you." One of the other three man who were with the prince began and if I was not already shocked I was shocked now, "Me?" I questioned and he nod.

I looked at my parents and they had excited expressions on their faces. "Miss Eleanore, Prince Arthur-" As he was about to continue the Prince held up his hand causing him to stop.

"Eleanore Kennedy, I come with an offer for you. As you have had I was attacked not too long ago. I have been on the look out for a good bodyguard and I happened to be where you were the day you fought that thief who was twice you size which is quite impressive. "He began." Would you like you be my personal bodyguard?"He continued. Yeah now I was shocked.

" Me. Bodyguard? "I asked out of surprise and he nod.

Why would Prince Arthur want me out of all people to be his bodyguard. There are people way more qualified than i am.

I looked at my parents and Esme who seemed to like the idea." Miss what do you say? "The man who had began talking to me asked.

I was surprised to say the least but this was a job opportunity that would never come again." Alright. I will be Prince Arthur's bodyguard. "I answered.

" When do I start? "I asked," As soon as possible. "Prince Arthur answered," Preferably today or tomorrow. "He added and I looked at him.

" Today or tomorrow? "I asked and he nod." Miss as his personal bodyguard it is preferred you stay at the palace. "The man said. The Palace?

" We must be on our leave now. How about we send for you to be fetched tomorrow morning? "The man said and I looked at my parents who nod." Okay sure. "I answered.

They all stood up and greeted goodbye before taking their leave. After the front door closed everyone began speaking.

" This calls for a celebration. My child got her first job. "My mom got up then helped me up and hugged me not letting go.

" First job? I work at the restaurant. "I said." That's a family business. I will change my statement. My child got her first job where her bosses is not her parents. "She said and I laughed," And why am I only hearing today that you fought a thief? "She asked me.

" Because you would worry, Mina. "My dad said as he put his arm around my shoulder," Well yes. "Mom replied.

" Family group hug. To Ellie's first job. "Esme said and we all hugged.

" I am going to make your favorite food for dinner. And invite the whole neighborhood. "My mom said and I looked at her," Ma."I said.

" Okay then maybe not the entire neighborhood. Esme call your parents and aunts over. "She changed her sentence," Okay I will be right back. "Esme said as she walked out of the living room.

My mom made her way to the kitchen and began cooking and my dad went to help her.

" Eleanore go start packing. You won't have time tomorrow. "My mom called," Okay ma."I made my way up to my room.

The Prince wants me to be his bodyguard. Surprise of the centurie.
