Under the midnight sky

"Slow down!" I exclaimed as Arthur increased the horse riding. Lately Arthur's schedule has been too open that as he says 'has been very bored' so has been going to many places and doing different random things at most random times.

At five thirty pm he decided that he wanted to come horse riding and that is what we are currently doing.

"This is the slowest I can go. Any slower the horse will basically be walking." He said. "Can I get of then?" I asked him  and he stopped the horse and I quickly got off, regretting getting on it in the first place.

"It's not that bad." Aaron laughed as he walked up to me and stood next to me, "You should have seen your reaction the whole time you were on it." He laughed and I gave him the middle finger and he placed his hands on his chest dramatically.

"How many things does Arthur do anyways?" I asked as I began walking away from the riding track and Aaron followed me.

"Well he does horse back riding, painting and drawing, pottery, plays basketball from time to time, baking, spends a lot of time learning different languages, he speaks eight, used to do boxing, stopped after you began working for him and so many things."Aaron said shocking me a bit with some of the things he listed.

" One, Arthur Lancaster can bake? Two, Arthur Lancaster can speak eight languages? Three, Arthur Lancaster used to do boxing and can probably be a good bodyguard for himself even better than me but still hired me?" I asked Aaron who looked like he wanted to run away.

"One, yes he can bake, quite good actually. Two, he speaks all eight fluently. Three, I said too much and goodbye." He said then began walking away from me quickly and I followed him and ended up chasing him.

When I finally reached him Arthur was also walking our way." What are you two doing?"Arthur asked us and Aaron looked at me then at him.

" She is chasing-"He did not finish his sentence because I cut him off." Why did you hire me? "I asked him and he looked at me.

" Because I needed a bodyguard and i happened to be at the right place at the right time to see you. "He answered.

" Aaron Adams here tells me that you used to do boxing which means you know how to fight. "I said and Arthur looked at Aaron then back at me.

"Well... Well I don't know my mind told me to." He said and I gave them a look causing both of them to raise their hands up in defense.

"Can you continue being his bodyguard? It's been so great having you around." Aaron said and Arthur nod. "I wasn't planning on leaving." I said.

"Okay that's great. Let's go watch a movie." Arthur said and I wasn't even surprised.

"Seriously? We just went to the cinema this morning." I said and right after I said that Aaron got a call and Arthur and I looked at each other.

"Okay turns out that a meeting has just been scheduled with Princess Ava." Aaron announced after the call ended and I was so excited for this meeting, and I never am excited for meetings but after two weeks of not having one it feel like a new feeling.

"Okay great. Let's go." Arthur said quite excited.

I decided to walk home to visit after breakfast. I was so excited to see my parents and Esme physically.

Once I arrived I knocked on the door and heard my mom say 'coming' before she opened the door. She was holding a basket filled with flowers and fruits, that once she saw me she quickly placed down and hugged me.

"Hello ma." I greeted her as I hugged her back. "Eleanore." She kissed my cheeks as she let go of me.

"Esme come here Eleanore is here!" She called out then looked back at me and placed her hands on my cheeks.

"How are you my child?" She asked me and I smiled, "I am great mom." I answered.

"Eleanore." Esme said from behind my mom and she stepped aside then Esme hugged me and I hugged her back. "I was just about to come by the palace." She said.

"To do what?" I asked her and she pointed at the basket mom was holding. "Aunty wanted to send me to come bring these for you." She said and I smiled.

"Come in." My mom said and I walked inside closing the door behind me.

"Where is pa?" I asked them. "He just went to work but will be back early today." Mom answered. "I will wait if Arthur does not need to go anywhere today." I said and they both smiled.

We sat in the living room and talked and laughed and watched a bit of TV just catching up in general.
