Giants of Hyrule

Chapter 7

          When Dark Link returned within the castle, he unscrewed the lid of the jar. Now that she was far away enough from Link, Dark Link didn't care if she yelled for help.

As he opened the lid, Hope was heavy breathing and braced herself by curling into a ball and even screamed, but for some reason he left her in the jar and done nothing. Until he said to her,

"Luckily for you, I'm not going to be doing anything with you...yet."

Hope whimpered as Dark Link walked up to the third floor and stopped in front of a large chamber. Hope was astonished when they approached these two heavy, grand wooden doors.

Dark Link knocked with his free hand. A much deeper voice thundered through the doors,

"Enter!"

That voice rumbled through Hope's little frame, and it made her tremble. The grand doors open, and Dark Link walked in along with Hope kept in the jar.

Dark Link smirked at Ganondorf, who looked like he was about to eat Ina again. He was dangling her in front of his face by her arm.

Hope gasped deeply and her big eyes went extremely wide of seeing this new giant, but this giant is gigantic compared to Mr. Link or Dark Link, huge beyond belief.

The evil king looked over and spotted Hope, and grinned wide. Hope trembled violently on how intimidating he looks at her.

But then Hope was shocked to see her Mommy dangling with one arm so close to the face of this mountain of a man. She cries out to her,

"MOMMY!!!"

Ina was just as shocked and went wide-eyed to see her daughter, but captured, all she could say in distress is,

"No...! Hope!!!"

"Excellent work, Dark Link. Set the jar down on the table there." Ganondorf ordered. "And here."

He then tossed Ina in the air and Dark Link caught her like a softball. Hope looked to her direction and cried out to her in worry,

"Mommy!!!"

Ina looks at Hope in the jar and is more worried about her than herself. She began to struggle vigorously more and shouted,

"NO! Let go! Let go of me! Please, not my daughter!" and then she continued struggling. Hope just places her hands on the glass wall watching helplessly.

Dark Link set the jar down on the table and grinned at Ina.

"That will be all for now, Dark Link." Ganondorf spoke, waving his hand. "You are dismissed. I will bring this one back later."

"Yes, Sir." Dark Link spoke, then turns around and waving the back of his hand toward Hope as he walked away, "Have fun, tidbit~"

Once he had shut the doors and left, Hope ran and quickly pressed her palms flat on the glass wall as Dark Link left with her Mommy, and all she can say in tears is,

"...Mommy..."

Suddenly, Hope felt the jar shook violently along with the sound of thundering footsteps, causing her to fall over. She didn't see Ganondorf fast approaching her until his shadow loomed over her.

Hope notices the place just got darker and looked behind her, and sees Ganondorf. The little girl breathed heavily, and tears flowed down her face.

Ganondorf slid off his bed and rose, walking towards the jar table.

He grabbed the jar with one hand and looked at Hope closely with an evil smile. Her eyes widened and she pressed her back and arms against the glass wall of the jar.
