In the castle, Archie is on the floor suffering in unbearable pain. The ground around Archie began to quake as Ganondorf came storming in. He nearly step on the poor Rito but luckily he stopped before confronting Dark Link.
"What in Hyrule happened down here?!" Ganondorf thundered. "I'm trying to sleep and I can hear you all the way upstairs!"
Dark Link clenched his fists and said,
"One of the prisoners got away, Sir." He then looks down at Archie. "That little chicken down there helped one of my pets escape."
Ganondorf glances down in Dark Link's direction and spots Archie. As he plucked up Archie, the Rito was pretty beat up and he was slipping in and out of consciousness.
"He must have come in while I was asleep." Dark Link continued.
"I see..." the king muttered, examining Archie before giving him to Dark Link and continued,
"Keep him in the empty cage for now. I shall be keeping the brat's mother for a while. Bring her up to my chambers in her cage after you've locked up that little traitor."
Dark Link sighed in annoyance, but nodded his head, and formally said,
"Yes, King Ganondorf..."
Dark Link then took Archie back to his quarters and locked him up in the cage where he used to keep Hope in.
A while ago in Dark Link's stomach, Ina was aware that her daughter manage to escape thanks to Archie, she felt relieved that at least her daughter can taste freedom.
Ina didn't care about Dark Link's threats, as long her daughter is free and safe, she'll be happy to take the consequences for her.
All she can do now is stay strong until she finds her small chance to escape, but then she gasped when the whole space enclosed around her and elevated upwards.
Dark Link brought Ina back up into his mouth. He spit her out into his hand and tossed her back in the cage. Ina staggers to get up before he locked it.
"There's been a slight change of plans, morsel," Dark Link said while lifting her cage up, "You're going to be spending some time with your king instead of me. I'm going to deal with that blasted bird while he keeps an eye on you."
Ina widened her eyes and became pale when Dark Link mentions she'll be spending time with that brute of a king. She then covered her mouth in disbelief when she sees Archie's horrible injuries in Hope's old cage.
"A-Archie...!? Oh no, what has he done to you!?" Ina said worryingly, but forcefully left with Dark Link, leaving Archie behind.
As Dark Link left his room with Ina and cage in hand, he then said while climbing up some stone stairs,
"Believe me, if you didn't like me eating you, you're going to HATE it when he does it...and actually swallows~" He snickered with a cruel smirk before he brought her up to Ganondorf's chambers as ordered. He dropped her off in Ganondorf's bedroom and left.
As soon as he left, the cage trembles from the rumbling footsteps of that brute approaching her cage with his gigantic shadow looming over her.
the gigantic king loomed over Ina and folded his beefy arms across his broad chest. He looked even bigger and more intimidating when he crossed his arms.
Ina's shoulders trembled but still stayed strong in his presence.
"So...you and your little spawn have been making allies, hm?" Ganondorf mused looking down, engulfing her in his shadow.
