{SHINee Onew} ~ Angst

 ~ For saucvi 

"Jinki, are you ready yet?" you shouted through your apartment, while slumped onto the couch. 

Your boyfriend had ordered you to wait there, claiming to have some sort of surprise, before disappearing into the master bedroom. That was thirty minutes ago.

"Almost, jag-" he began, his sentence cut off my a thud and a loud "ouch!". 

"Are you okay?"  you said, instinctively jumping up and running to the door.

"I- ah- I'm fine!" he mumbled on the other side of the wood. "Go and sit back down,quickly!" he urged you.

You trotted back over to where you had been seated and brought your knees to your chest.

"Are you sitting down?"

"Yesss" 

"Okay, here we go~"

You heard the door open before excited footsteps came your way. You turned to see your absolute dork of a boyfriend dressed in a chicken onesie, looking far too pleased with himself. He was smiling ear to ear, showing his teeth, barely able to keep himself from bursting with glee.

"Do you like it?!" he  asked with excitement evident in his voice.

"Jinki," you laughed, "This was my surprise?" You said, getting up to hug him.

"Not entirely." 

"Oh?"

"Here!" he said, handing you a matching onesie.

"Onew.." you said, laughing at his ridiculousness.

He was just standing smiling at you, his lips now pressed together in a thin, stretched out line.

"What?" you queried.

"You have such a beautiful smile, jagi~". 

"Thankyou, squishy" you said, trying to cover your embarrassed expression by pinching his cheeks,making him whine like a child.

"In all seriousness, I do have a surprise." Onew said, once he had got you to stop cooing over his chubbiness.

"Really? What is it? Something else to do with chicken?" you teased.

"Get changed" he laughed at you.

"What? I am changed?"

"On the bed" he  said, before taking off towards the second bedroom, "Be ready in ten minutes!" he said before closing the door.

You made your way towards the bedroom, confusion evident in your face. Once you made it to the edge of the bed, your eyes met the simple, yellow sundress that he had bought for you. You smiled to yourself, changing into it excitedly. You reached for your tan brogues and some white frilly socks.  You re-emerged from the bedroom, to see Jinki dressed in grey casual dress trousers and a light blue button down shirt.

"This dress is so beautiful oppa" you smiled thankfully at him.

"That smile is beautiful, (y/n)" he said, seriousness all over his gaze. 

"So where are we going?" you questioned as you walked down the hallway hand in hand. It was around 9pm in the evening, so you had grabbed a jacket before leaving. 

"I thought, that we would go to the park where I ever so heroically, rescued your dog from drowning in the pond as we first met." he said as you both got into the car.

"You mean, the park, where I was walking my dog, and you stopped to pet it, and tripped over the leash and fell into the pond?" you laughed.

"You have a cute dog" he whined in embarrassment,  while beginning to drive.
