It was a super beautiful day outside. There was zero wind, and the sun was shining so brightly, causing the light to bounce around and spread happiness along with the glowing rays. You decided to take a walk down to the park a few minutes away from you, and asked your friend if she could meet you there. She immediately replied, stating that she was already there, with a few blankets laying on the grass, sunbathing.

You text her saying you were on your way, as you slipped on your shoes and grabbed a hold of your keys and earphones. You put your music in as you locked the car door and began the enjoyable walk to see your good friend.

You enjoyed the gentle heat from the sun on your skin, as you had decided to wear some shorts and a vest top to take full advantage of the rare warmth falling from the sky. As you began to near the park, you let your friend know how close you were. You turned the corner of the fence and walked through, getting hit with the scent of grass and fresh flowers. The green reflected onto your skin due to the strength of the rays which were raining onto it. Your eyes glanced around, and you noticed how empty it was. You text you friend, telling her you had entered at the entrance from the direction of your home, and she replied stating she was near the center of the field. You began to walk through the grass, but you had decided to take your shoes off. The grass cooled and tickled your feet as you spotted your friend, looking very relaxed in the sunshine.

You changed your path, trying to sneak up behind her, walking slowly. As you were almost at your friend, you felt something grab your ankles, and looked down to see your friend holding on to them, before pulling, making you loose your balance and fall onto your behind.

They burst out laughing at you, as you rubbed your bum quickly to lessen the pain. You suddenly stopped worrying about your behind as you spotted someone else start to lay out some blankets to enjoy the sunshine. But that wasn't what caught your attention. What caught your attention, was their face.

As blunt as it may be, it i truthful, because the beauty that was that face.. It left you with absolutely no words in your mouth.

"Y/N, stop staring," your friend hissed at you, catching your attention.

"Sorry," you said, looking wide eyed at your friend.

"Oh" your friend, breathed.

"What?"

"Nothing"

"What is it?"

"Nothing, just" they looked over your shoulder, "just keep looking at me, please."

"Okay, why?" You said as you made yourself comfortable.

"Just, okay, lay down then, let's just, chi-" she was cut off by someone tapping your shoulder, making you jump.

"Sorry," you heard a smooth voice say immediately, as you jumped up.

It was the face.

"The face?" you heard him say.

In that moment, the world stopped. You could feel every single drop of blood within you veins rushing all at once to your cheeks. Did you just say that out loud? Oh,  no you couldn't have. But then why would he say that? 

"-name?" was all you heard as you came out of your day dream. 

"Oh, sorry" you said, as you  slightly shook your head.

"My name is Y/N" you continued,

"Pretty name," he smiled, making your face pink. "I'm Wooshin."

It clicked. 

THE FACE! 

"I like your name," you smiled, trying to play off the fact that you were dying inside.

"You do?"

You nodded as your reply.

"My face too?" he titled his head slightly as he chuckled. You hid your cheeks with your hands as you laughed, embarrassed.

"Hey," he reached almost instinctively for your hands, but just as his finger tips grazed your skin, he stopped, " may I?" 

Again, all you were able to do was nod.

He took hold of your hands and pulled them from your face, "You're too pretty to be hiding your face like that." 

"I-"

"Let, " he took a breath, "Let me treat you to icecream?"

You looked back at your friend, knowing that she was spectating every thing. She smirked at you and nodded. You looked back, his eyes glowing at you.

"I love ice cream" you smiled at him, and watched his smile grow, his teeth shining through.

For a moment you contemplated that his smile may actually be brighter than the sunshine you were both engulfed in.

You pulled your hands from his as you turned around to gather your things, before saying cherio to your friend. He was standing, one hand in his pocket, the other out stretched.

"I'll carry that," and with that, off you walked, as his arm snaked around you.

"Thank you." you said.

"Anything for a beautiful girl."
