Loss of innocence

Period

I woke up in new clothes, and I was on the bed with Mellisa at my side.

"Your awake," said Mellisa.

"W-what happened?" I asked?

"You got your first period," she said scrunching up her nose.

"W- what, I don't need it I don't want it ." I shouted

I started crying, and one of the older girls walked in.

"Do you want a pad or a tampon,"she asked?

"Uhh.... Pads?"

She handed me a pad and left. I put it on in the bathroom. Then I was approached by suite man.

"Do you think it will be over by next week? Because we have customers coming then and you can't be on it when the use you so...." He asked?

"Umm... I don't know," I asked staring at my feet

"Well if you need anything just ask for Jerald, that's me okey," he said.

I nodded my head and quickly left the hall.
