Loss of innocence

The New Me

      I walked back out to the common room after changing my pad. I took some of the meds Jerald bought for me, then got up to look in the mirror.

       I was a mess. The were dark rings under my eyes, vomit all over my outfit and I was so skinny and pale. I looked in the full body mirror.

        I used to get teased for how chunky I was but now I'm as skinny as a piece of cardboard. I ran my hands over my belly, it hurt just to touch it.

          You could see basically every bone in my body. I wanted to eat and drink more but I couldn't. I didn't trust it. I wanted to sleep more but I couldn't trust that either.

          I got into a nice warm shower, letting the water run over my body. It felt comforting and nice. I enjoyed it so much.

          "Um, Lydia. I need to talk to you, could you hurry please?" Jerald was standing on the other side of the shower certain. I could see the his shadow on the floor.

          "Yes. Of course. Ill be out in a minute." I said, turning off the water. I made sure he wasn't still at the certain when I got out. I put on a clean outfit and walked out to talked to Jerald.
