Loss of innocence

The moon shined into the bathroom making my blond hair look gold- pale. I stared into the mirror awhile, clenching the glass in my hand. I had broke a beer bottle one of the men left laying around and kept a peice. I was ready to go, so sure but not at the same time. My head spun i did not know if this was right.

I'm not scared, this is the only way. It will be peaceful I will be happy, and safe. No one will ever touch me again.

I finally got the courage to do it, I raised the glass and slowly dugg the glass across my wrist. I shreaked and fell to my knees in pain. I cryed louder and held my wrist tight regretting the whole thing. I yelped louder as I watched my blood make a puddle on the gray tile. Mellisa and some of the other girls ran in eyes wide.

"I- I'm sorry," I cryed.

Mellisa ran to my side crying quietly.

"Shhh- shhh it is going to be okey," Mellisa whispered. "Don't just stand there get Jerald," she screamed!

The other girls skiddered away to get help as the rest of the girls all stood around me either weeping, staring, or yelling. Jerald slid into the bathroom quickly with an first aid kit. He picked me up and started walking, Mellida closely behind.

"I don't want to d- die anymore," I cryed.

"You won't I promise," Jerald seeped kissing my forehead.

The room went black when I herd a voice.

"Oh Lydia, I am so sorry I will get you out of this."

"Where am I, can't see anything Im scared."

"Its me Jesus, you and Mellisa will be fine I will get you out. I am,so sorry you had to go through this. But I am dissapointed in you."

"W-why what did I do?"

"You tried to kill yourself. That is never the answer Lydia."

"Am I d-dead!"

"No you will be fine but you have to promise me one thing. You will start going to church with Mellisa."

"Yes of course! I am sorry. Please forgive me!"
