I cannot believe this rahul is doing this. He literally blackmailed me to support his date with pravi.I donot have a slightest idea of how this is going to turn.He is completely head over heels for her.And she is not even glancing at him.I thought of talking to her but it am afraid it would effect our relation.On the other hand I am afraid this romeo would get hurt.I cannot understand how he managed to get his sister cooperate. I hope everything would be alright.I am also loving this at somewhere in my heart.To be near her,talking to her and listening her.
"Can i ask you something..umm..if you donot mind"
"Hmm" she nodded still munching on the hotdog she just bought.
"Why are you supporting him court your sister. I mean your sister kinda dislike him."i hesitantly asked her.
"I like the way he loves her" she simply stated.
"what!!" I exclaimed still on the fence.
"He loves 'her' the way she is.I should not say this but pravi has worst mood swings and temper. She is a hard nut to crack.I have seen many backing off seeing her fierce badass attitude saying she has got attitude.There he is still wanting to be with her.And My instincts are telling me that they are soon going to be a couple."
"Do you also have someone in your life." I cannot stop myself from asking her.
She looked at me a few seconds and turned her face answering 'no'.It made me smile and the reason is unknown.
"Sri let's ride that."we heard pravi's loud voice.I glanced at sri who is fidgeting her fingers. "Are you not okay with it" she shook her lightly still lost looking at the roller coaster the ride pravi offered. "By any chance are you afraid".Sri slowly looked at me and nodded saying she is afraid. "We will skip pravi.You guys carry on" I shouted back to her.I am not willing to either force her to go on ride or make her feel left out while i enjoy my ride.I looked at sri who is smiling warmly at me looking straight into my eyes.
"Shall we go there"she asked pointing somewhere.And it is a haunted house.
"I am afraid of speed only"she clarified when I am hesitating to ask her whether she is afraid of ghost.
"So shall we" she again asked this time holding the hem of my shirt at wrists. Extremely cute just like daughter asks her father to buy something for her.
I bought the tickets to enter haunted house.We entered in and the surroundings are all pitch black with red dim light creating scary effect.But she is unaffected just going forward.We came across different mannequins placed to enhance the scary ambiance.She is engrossed in looking at the surroundings A scream echoed in the silent atmosphere.And it was mine. "Aaahhhh...god!!" What exactly happened is--i am walking looking at the set properties. Suddenly a skeleton is dropped down infront of me scaring the hell out of me.
A laughter is echoing now I looked at sri who is laughing holding her stomach and hand on mouth.Her eyes are teary as if she is laughing for a while.
"I am sorry but that was too funny" I looked at her offended and walked away.
she jogged to me apologizing.I am not convinced.what would I do if that stupid skeleton suddenly appears infront of me out of nowhere. "Listen sid.i am sorry" she said taking hold of my hand to stop me. That mere touch of her sent chills all over me. "I will accept only if you will not tell this to Rahul or pravi".By any chance they knew this I am doomed for life.Their teasing will never end. "Alright.I will not.Let us go and grab something to eat" we walked out to the stall hand in hand.She made me sit there and went to order.She came back with sandwich handing me one.We started having food she suddenly said "OMG.I just forgot about them wait i donot think pravi ate." "No need.Rahul messaged me that they are eating when we are in that stupid place" She chuckled and stopped when I looked at her. "I donot know that people who fly in sky everyday can get scared of some skeleton" sri said controlling her laughter. "Sri" i whined. "Accha sorry." She told acting as if she will zip her mouth. "You know what sid,You looked extremely cute like scared little puppy" she stated making a sign of pulling cheeks.I felt my cheeks getting warm.Am i blushing!!! I didnot utter anything after that. We four are now roaming around to select where to go.Pravi and sri are talking to each other and laughing over things.Rahul and I are just taking out steps following them. "So How is it going" I asked him about his planned date.
"Good" he replied nonchalantly.
"Sid,I donot want to beat around the bush anymore.I want to make myself clear and propose her for wedding what do you say" he declared. I am speechless.I have no idea to give him except rooting for him.
"Whatever suits you" that's all I am able to say now.
"Will it work if I take it through sridevi" he asked me as if he is hurry.
"Rahul...That will hurt pravi.This is more sensitive that you think"
"I understand but I really donot want to miss her.I also don't get why I liked her but now I am sure that I love her so much to that extent that I am changed.I am not that Rahul who used to be playful and flirty.Whenever I try to look at someone else my mind reminds me of her.i feel like going crazy." He completed holding his hair.
Before I could reply him he continued "Leave it.I will sort it out.I really want to say this to you sid.If you find someone you love never let her go.Else you regret it." The minute he said love my mind reminded me of sri.
"How do I know that I love her"i asked looking at sri.
"Your heart will tell you.You yearn for her like you didnot for anyone" he completed patting my shoulder and joined the girls. Really!!I know I am attracted to her.But Do I love her??? "Aahh i donot know" i shrugged ruffling my hair roughly.
