It's ok to cry (Miles 42)

Alr y'all I am so sorry for what I'm about to do ..

This one shot is about Miles being abused by Rio, and I'm rlly sorry, I love Rio so much but I thought it would be new and interesting to write about, pls give more suggestions cuz I'm running out!

Miles knew he was broken.

He knew because after another brutal beating from his mother, he was just sitting in a corner shaking and crying.

He was the Prowler, he shouldn't be this weak, he should fight back but... he couldn't.

He still loved his mom and wanted her to get help, she was doing all of this because she saw too much of his father in him. She was still grieving and didn't want to admit it so she took everything, and I mean Everything out on him.

It all started when a month after the funeral, she finally came out of her room.

She just stormed up to Miles and slapped him. Miles was reading a newspaper, a thing him and his dad used to do all the time together.

Miles didn't have words, his mom had never slapped him like that before, he just looked up at her mouth wide in shock.

"What makes you think you can just sit here and read when there are things to do around the house!  ¡bajate pero y ve a lavar los platos!" His mom yelled.

Miles just stood up and went to do the dishes as she still screamed at him. When he was done he went to her room.

"Mami I'm done with the dishes" he says.

"Good now go clean the house" she says glaring.

Miles turned and goes to do as told

At school, Ganke and Y/n had been getting worried. Everytime Ganke went in for a high five Miles would flinch or just move away.

Miles also never wanted anyone over at his house unless his mom wasn't working late which y/n found very strange.

One day though, Y/n decided to visit Miles as a surprise, she went pretty late at night and also through the window.

When she got there, she heard yelling from downstairs, she crept downstairs and was shocked to see Rio yelling her heart out at Miles who was just..... Standing there?

She knew something was up now, Miles was tough, he was the Prowler, how could he let her scream at him for.. dishes?

Then out of nowhere she grabbed a dirty dish and smashed it over Miles head.

It took her everything not to run over and just do- something at least.

She watched as Miles fell to the ground unconscious as Rio stepped over him and stormed out of the house.

Y/n ran over and fell to her knees.

"Miles! Miles please, pleas- wake up Miles!" She sobbed as she held his now bleeding head.

She knew she couldn't carry him so she decided to call the only person who was strong enough and smart enough to handle this.

She called and after a few rings, the call started.

"Y/n what's up it's late why you callin'"

"Aaron, it's Miles, Rio is crazy, he's bleeding I don- I don't know what to do we need to get him to the hospital" she almost screamed.

"Alright I'm on my way just calm down and stay on the call" She could hear an engine starting.

"Ok" she said through a sob.

About 10-15 mins later, Aaron burst through the door with a look of horror, fear, shock, anger and so much more.

He quickly got to action though. S
He picked up Miles and led him to the car parked outside.. wait y/n said in her head, 'i thought he had a bike' but quickly shrugged it off.

She held Miles in the back seat as they drove to the hospital.

When they got there, because they drove to emergency, nurses came out and took Miles, put him on a bed and rolled him inside.

Aaron and Y/n were forced to sit in the waiting area. Y/n paced up and down. "Y/n calm down, he'll be ok don't worry" Aaron tried to calm her, although he was equally worried.

Soon, a nurse came and got them to see Miles. Y/n and Aaron went in.

Miles eyes were barely open and his head was wrapped.

Y/n ran over and crouched beside his bed, she kissed his forehead and hugged him.

"Hey n/n" Miles says weakly"

"Miles why didn't you tell me your mom was doing this?" Y/n asked

"I didn't want you to worry, m'sorry ma" he said quietly.

Y/n smiled and kissed his forehead again "just get better and we'll figure out what were gonna do about your situation"

A nurse came in. "Sorry but Miles needs to get rest"

"See you later Miles, I love you" and she walked out with Aaron"

Miles goes to sleep with a smile on his face.
