Ch 24 get ready to rumble?

I was sitting on the couch watching T.V with Pony when Two-Bit came in

"Guys I did something bad I did something bad" Two-Bit panicked

"Two-Bit keep your voice down Rosy sleeping" I said

"What did you do this time" Pony asked

We all took a seat on the couch as Two-Bit told us the story

"After I left the diner I went to hang out with my girlfriend Marcia but some other socs saw us together and boy were they mad so we started to yell at each other somehow in this mess there going to be a rumble" Two-Bit told us

"Those socs never really like us at all" I said mad

"Oh and I forgot to tell you guys you have to come too" Two-Bit said

"Why do we have to come" Pony asked

"It's a greasers vs socs fight it start tonight at 9:00pm" Two-Bit said then left the house

I never really been in a rumble before unless you call getting jump by some socs a fight but the only time I actually hit someone was on my and pony's first date coming home from the drive in I only tell people I been in fight just so they can think I'm tuf like Dally but really I'm too scared to do anything

"Pony we can't go to the rumble we have a baby to take care of" I said tearing up

"I know we do you can stay here well I go" Pony told me

"No you will get hurt please stay" I cried

"I don't want Rosy to live in a world where we have to run away from others just because they want to hurt us and if this is the only way for socs to stop then I'm going" Pony told me

Just then the door opened and everyone started to come in there was Two-Bit, Sarah, Darry, Soda, Dally, Sandy, Christi, Johnny, Steve and Stephanie

"Did you hear about the rumble tonight" Soda asked us

"Yes Two-Bit told us already" Pony replied

"You girls stay here well us guys put an end to all this" Darry said

The guys we're about to leave the house when Two-Bit stopped

"Two-Bit come on let go" Steve told him

"Tiffany are you coming we need you" Two-Bit asked me

"No I'm not having my kid sister fight in the rumble she could get hurt" Dally yelled

"But we need her no girl can fight as good as she can"

"I said no and I mean it"

Dally stormed out the door with the guys following behind him

"Fine" Two-Bit said as he followed the others out the door

The guys headed over to the rumble leaving us girls behind

"I don't like this one bit" I said

"Their fine" Christi said holding her son

"What if Pony get hurt I need him" I cried

Sarah came over to me and pulled me into a hug

"Everything going to be ok" Sarah said

"How can you say that everything not going to be OK we need to help them" I cried

"And how are we going to do that" Christi asked

"By helping them in the rumble they need our help" I told them

"Tiffany some of us like you have little ones to take care of" Christi said

"Fine I guess I'm on my own"

"What about your kid" Sandy asked

"Stephanie watch my daughter" I said as I walked out the door

Once I got to the lot where the rumble was everyone was at the fight there was our gang Tim Shepherd and his gang and some other gang I don't know about

"Hey don't start the fight without me" I said running up to them

"Tiffany what are you doing here" Dally yelled

"I wanted to help you guys" I replied

"I told you not to come here" Dally said

"No you told Two-Bit that not me" I told Dally

"Dally let her fight we need her more then you think" Two-Bit said

"No did I make myself clear back there I'm not having my kid sister fight in this rumble"

And that when 4 or 8 cars pulled up and socs started coming out

"Who ready to fight" Bob asked

"Hey look Dallas little sister here" one of Bob's friends said

"There no little girls allowed at this rumble" Bob said coming up to me

"Show me the rule book SHOW ME THE RULE BOOK" I yelled at Bob

"I will be glad to show you the rule book" Bob smiled

Bob was about to hit me when Dallas came in front of me and punch Bob right in the face and the rumble was on

People were kicking and punching other everyone had blood dripping from their face and hands

"Pony" I cried out

I was so scared I didn't know what to do that when someone grab my shirt and pulled me down I was being kicked and punched blood was coming from my hands and the only thing I did was close my eyes so I didn't have to see myself being punch in the face

After a while of being kicked and punched I felt someone lift me up so I opened my eyes and saw soda carrying me

"You will be safe here" Soda said putting me down behind a tree

I watch as Soda when back in the fight people were getting beating up how could something so small start something so big and then I saw someone hit Soda as hard as he could which knock him to the ground at first I though Soda would get up and hit back but he didn't just laid there and that when I knew something was wrong

"Sodapop" I screamed

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked my way

"Soda" I yelled again

"I think we took this too far" one of the socs said

"Let's got out of here"

All the socs got back in their cars leaving us in tears everyone even people you never see cry had tears on their face

"This is all my fault" Two-Bit said

We were all crying at this point Pony came up to me and gave me a hug as we watched Darry carry Soda into his car

"I'm going to take Soda to the hospital so I don't want you to tell anyone what happened here" Darry said

"What about our girls back home" Johnny asked

"Only them no one else we can't have the cops found out they will sent us to jail for having a rumble" Darry told us as he got in the car and drove off

You just never really think someone like Soda could get hurt but today he did

"I just hope he OK" I cried

"We all do" Pony said crying in my arms

"This is all my fault" Two-Bit said again

By this time everyone was crying into each others arms for the sadness that our friend might lost he life tonight
