"Soojin told me you won't be going to the ceremony."

Nicha remained silent as she straightened her tie, looking at herself in the car mirror. Even in small actions, she missed Miyeon. Everything reminded her of her.

"Why?" Yuqi asked, looking at Nicha through the rearview mirror.

"Why should I go there? She and I are no longer married. She hates me and I don't want to ruin her ceremony. I don't want to ruin anything in her life anymore." the Thai said, looking down.

"You'll never know until you meet her."

"Yuqi, please." Nicha said, trying to stay calm. "I'm trying in every way to overcome it. Don't make things harder."

"At least give it a try."

"YUQI!" the woman shouted, staring into the blonde's eyes. "I beg you."

Yuqi remained silent, speeding up, changing direction.

It was pouring rain outside and there was a lot of traffic.

"Yuqi, what are you doing?"

"You have to see Miyeon. You need it! Even if it were the last time."

"Yuqi, please!" Nicha pleaded on the verge of tears. "I-It's been three months and I'm trying to heal in every way... I don't think I can look Miyeon in the eye without..."

"Please... Try."

The blonde pulled up to the university entrance.

Nicha didn't know what to do, her feet were glued together.

"Nicha..."

"Okay... I'll try."

"That's my boss!"

The woman took a deep breath before opening her umbrella and getting out of the car.

"Nicha!" Yuqi exclaimed, rolling down the car window. "Bring her these, she'll like them."

Yuqi handed her a bouquet of dahlias, making Nicha's eyes almost water.

The woman took them, before turning towards the entrance, crossing the gates.

The gym was full of graduates and the ceremony had already begun. Nicha stopped behind, as she searched the crowd for Miyeon.

The students all wore the same clothes, making Nicha's job difficult.

The principal called out several names, until one caught the woman's attention.

"Cho Miyeon."

The Thai watched as Miyeon walked onto the stage, shaking hands with her professors, before collecting her graduation certificate from the director, before looking into the audience for photos.

Their eyes met and Nicha could see the surprise in them.

She couldn't tell if it was something good or bad.

The woman smiled bitterly, admiring the girl to whom she had given her heart. Miyeon smiled at her, before walking off the stage, not breaking eye contact for even a second.

Nicha's heart began to beat, giving her a sharp pain in her chest and a feeling of longing.

The woman wanted to escape, but she wanted to congratulate the girl.

Nicha left the gym, heading into the garden, sitting on one of the benches under the gazebo, placing the bouquet of flowers next to her.

The woman closed her eyes, trying to calm down, listening to the pouring of the rain and the buzz of the celebrating students.

Miyeon walked out of the auditorium, not caring about the rain, running as fast as she could, looking for Nicha, before seeing a gazebo and some benches.

The brunette approached, seeing a bouquet of dahlias and an umbrella.

The girl smiled bitterly, seeing the flowers that Nicha had in her hands, resting on that bench.

Miyeon took the bouquet, seeing a note inside with Minnie's handwriting, so kind and neat.

"Sorry for ruining your ceremony. I was hoping you wouldn't see me in the crowd, so you wouldn't know I was there too. I didn't want you to have a bad memory of graduation.

These flowers are for you... Dahlias for a dahlia.

It was nice to be able to see you at least once... I missed you and seeing you smile makes me feel good, it means that you are now happy and far from everything that made you suffer, like me.

Have a happy life, Miyeon.

P.S. Take the umbrella. It's raining a lot, I don't want you to catch a cold."

Miyeon looked at the bouquet, smiling bitterly.

Each dahlia was as beautiful and red as the one on Nicha's chest. The dahlia that she loved to trace every night, before falling asleep, feeling every stroke under her fingers, while the scent of Nicha's skin invaded her nostrils, intoxicating her, making her addicted.

She missed their intimacy, her hugs and kisses, she missed her in flesh and bones.

The girl held the bouquet of flowers close to her, smelling its sweet scent.

"Happy birthday... Minnie." Miyeon whispered, smiling bitterly.
