"Name?" the woman asked, while she was looking at some work documents.

The girl remained silent, glancing at Soojin who with a nod encouraged her to speak.

"Cho Miyeon." the girl said, immediately catching Nicha's attention.

The woman looked up, seeing her beloved in front of her.

Nicha had an indecipherable expression. A mixture of amazement, affection and anger.

"Everyone get out of my office." the woman said, starting to hear a buzz between the four behind Miyeon. "Now!"

The four got up, leaving the office, closing the door.

"Soojin, you too." the woman said, seeing her secretary come out.

Only Nicha and Miyeon were left in the room.

The woman's eyes were fixed on the girl's, while Miyeon did nothing but look at Nicha, not missing the wedding ring still on the finger of her left hand.

She hadn't seen her in months and all he could do was worry about her and her health.

The woman had lost a lot of weight and her face was almost hollow and her wedding ring was much bigger than normal.

The two hadn't seen each other for eight long, lonely months. The Thai couldn't believe her eyes as she looked at the girl.

Nicha got up from her chair, going to sit on the front of the desk. Her expression hid a feeling of pain and nostalgia, as if seeing Miyeon there made her want to put everything back to how it was before.

"What are you doing here, Miyeon?" the woman asked in a serious, but still soft tone.

She didn't want to scare or hurt Miyeon. Not again.

"I'm looking for a job and I'm here for an interview with the CEO." said the girl.

"Why here, Miyeon?" she asked, desperately.

"I know that the position of psychologist was empty and I just got a degree in that field." Miyeon explained, as if it were the easiest thing in the world.

"Miyeon..."

"Please, Nicha." the girl pleaded, looking at the woman. "I need to talk to you. I was already supposed to do it on my graduation day, but you left. Please let me stay by your side."

"Soojin!" the woman called, seeing the raven enter. "Miyeon is leaving."

"Wha-? No! Minnie, please."

"I beg you, Miyeon... You've suffered enough, I don't want to hurt you again."

"Give me a chance."

"No! Now go away."

"Please, please I promise that things will be different!"

"No, Miyeon! I am the one who can't promise."

"Please, Min..."

Nicha paused to think, before sighing. She couldn't even say 'no' to her... she was weak.

"Soojin, show Miyeon her new office. Make it as far away from mine as possible." the woman said, turning around. "You can go."

"Minnie?!"

"Miyeon! Accept this, or leave and never come back."

"Miyeon, this way." Soojin said, escorting the girl out of the office.

The two took a corridor, not far from Nicha's office.

"I'll make up an excuse to explain this, but she needs you. You have to stay by her side."

"Thank you, Jin!" Miyeon said, walking in to look at her new office.

"If you need new furniture, let me know and we will buy it from the company savings." Soojin said, smiling. "Your office plaque will be ready in two days. In an hour I'll come here to escort you to the canteen for lunch and in the afternoon I'll give you a tour of the company. If you need anything, call me."

"Thank you, Jin."

The two entered the canteen, lining up with the other employees to fill their trays.

Miyeon and Soojin sat at a table, followed by Shuhua, Yuqi and Soyeon.

The five began to eat, when Miyeon noticed Nicha's absence.

"Doesn't Nicha eat here?" she asked unaware.

"Nicha..." Soojin began, searching for the right words to explain.

"She never eats." Shuhua completed, taking Soojin's hand, reassuring her.

"What do you mean?" the girl asked, surprised.

"Not to blame you, but since you left, she's thrown herself into work. He doesn't eat anymore. She loved coming home and finding food prepared by you, or she ate what you put in her lunchbox. Ever since you left, Soojin has been trying to replace you, cooking for her, but Nicha rejected everything she offered. She said that the foods no longer had any flavor, even though they were aesthetically identical to those prepared by you." the Taiwanese explained, also involving Miyeon. "Unfortunately, she spends her lunch break locked in her office, fasting, while trying to sleep. But, she can no longer sleep a wink. She tried sleeping pills, but after a while they lost their effect and then..."

"After she tried to use them to commit suicide, we decided to take them away." Yuqi explained, before popping a spoon of rice into her mouth.

Miyeon felt responsible for everything that had happened. If she had waited for Nicha to give her the letter, none of this would have happened. She shouldn't have trusted Kun.

The brunette stood up from the table, grabbing a new tray, filling it with all of Nicha's favorite dishes, before heading to the elevators.

The four women smiled at the scene, hoping that Nicha would accept.

Miyeon arrived in front of Nicha's office, knocking, but receiving no answer.

The girl opened the door, seeing the woman resting on her couch. Miyeon placed the tray on the desk, before walking over to the couch, kneeling down.

Nicha's face was so calm and relaxed and the temptation to trace the lines of her beautiful face was so great.

She missed their everyday life, she missed their cuddles in bed and their kisses. She missed admiring the woman as she slept and tracing every detail of her face.

The brunette brought her finger to the woman's face, not resisting the temptation, feeling the woman's soft skin under her fingertips.

Nicha, feeling the caresses on her face, began to open her eyes, meeting Miyeon's loving gaze.

A small smile grew on her lips, before she saddened again.

The woman brought her hand to the girl's, caressing it. It wasn't a dream, it was reality. Miyeon was there, in front of her, caressing her face.

"Why?" she asked, desperately. "I hate you, Miyeon."
