After saving my work, I quickly turned off my computer and picked up my bag. Pupunta si Amber sa unit ko. She has some problems with her boyfriend and wants to drink. Mukhang mapapasabak siya sa inuman mamaya. 

"Cassie! Cassie, wait!"

Napahinto ako at nilingon ang tumatawag sa akin. It was Harvey. Isa siyang producer na naging ka-close ko. Hinintay ko siya na makalapit sa akin.

"Mamsh, baka naman meron kang new song na pwede kay AJ."

"Still workin' on something."

He breathed out harshly. "Nangangarag na yung mga boss kase kulang pa ng two songs yung album ng hitad. Pati tuloy kami nginangarag nila! Mga letse! Producer ako hindi composer!" himutok niya. "I need to smoke. Uuwi ka na ba?"

"Yup!"

Mabilis na nagbago ang ekspresyon ng mukha niya at binigyan ako ng nunuksong tingin. "Susunduin ka ba ng hot lawyer jowa mo? Pasilay naman, girl!"

I laughed, shaking my head. "Dala ko yung car ko. Saka busy si boyfie."

"Alam mo isang date lang sa jowa mo, mawawala yung stress ko. Baka naman," biro niya.

"Minsan necessary yung stress sa buhay para tumibay kaya magpakatibay ka, Harvs. Sige na, una na ako."

I waved my hand and walked towards my car. 

"Damot!"

When I got home, I did a bit of cleaning. Actually, there wasn't much clutter or dirt since I'm quite organized at home. It was a quarter to 7 when Amber arrived. One look and I just knew that she would drink the night away. 

After two bottles of beer, she was already crying and cursing her ex-boyfriend. Apparently, they broke up last night. 

"I thought he loved me! I thought we felt the same way about each other! But you know what he said? He's still damn in love with his ex-girlfriend, that bitch! Girl, ang laki ng lamang ko dun sa ex niya! My gosh! There's definitely something wrong with that stupid jerk!"

She took another shot then wailed. "I really thought he was the one."

I took a deep breath. "He's the 10th guy you've said that about. Or 11th?"

"We were so amazing together. You know what I mean? I gave him the best of me. Girl, lahat binigay ko tapos ipagpapalit lang pala ako sa ex niya! That moron!" Sumubsob siya sa mesa at muling umiyak.

I sighed and just let her rant all throughout the night.

"Sabi ko naman kase sa'yo hinay-hinay lang. You've only known him for what, three months?" 

Nag-angat siya ng tingin. "Almost four months. It was the best time of my life, but he.." She wailed again, leaning on my shoulder.

Una palang ay sinabihan ko na siya dahil hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko sa ex niya.There were just so many red flags. Even though he was already dating Amber, he remained friends with his ex and even hung out with her at times! But Amber, being so in blind in love, chose to ignore the warning signs.

"Buti na lang si DJ may amnesia at hindi maalala yung ex niya."

Natigilan ako. 

Until now, hindi pa rin bumabalik ang nawalang alaala niya. When he followed me to the US 2 years ago, I asked him if he would take any treatment to get his lost memories back, but he simply said 'no'. Hindi na rin ako nagtanong. At that time, I was just so happy to be with him.
