CHAPTER XXXIV

I LEFT CHOSO'S ROOM AND QUIETLY ENTERED MY SHARED ROOM TO GO TO BED FOR THE NIGHT.

Aside from me confronting him regarding him having a girlfriend, I'd say we had a good time.
Well, I did for sure.

I turned around to close the door and froze in place when I heard a click and could see the warm light coming from the lamp that stood next to Yuji's side of the bed.

My heart dropped and my fingers went cold from the shock.
All I could hear was my heart begin to start beating at levels that I had never truly experienced before.

"Where have you been?" he sounded angry and had a bad feeling about all of this.

Did he find out? He couldn't have.
Did his mom tell him? Surely not?
Did he hear us? He was asleep, right?

"The bathroom." I lied through my teeth and prayed I could get away with it.

"For two hours?" he caught me off guard as I turned around to see him with his arms crossed, sitting on the bed.

I tried gulping my heart down back to ribcage but I was frozen and couldn't mutter a word due to my heart being in my mouth.

"You thought I couldn't hear you? You thought that I was asleep?" he got up and he was clearly upset.

"Yuji, I'm-" I tried to speak but he cut me off immediately.

"Shut the fuck up, Y/n." he raised his voice, and I had no choice but to let him.

"This entire fucking time I thought you were telling me the truth but now look at this!" he was so hurt, I could hear it through his voice cracking.

"You've been fucking my older brother this entire fucking time." he sounded as if he was in disbelief.

And now I've realised, that I've been caught.
I've been caught for good this time.

"I promise you I can explain." I tried to reach out for his arm desperately.

"No you fucking can't! You've been lying to my face." he snatched his arm away and raised his voice higher.

"What happened to you saying that you'd be on my side no matter what?" I tried to fight back but I realised that my logic was flawed.

"Did you fucking forget that I clearly told you that I would drop you if you were sleeping with my brother?" Yuji looked so incredibly angry, and he was allowed to be.

"You can't just drop me like that, that's inhumane." tears gathered in my eyes.

"It's humane when dealing with you, because of what you have been doing to not only me but Geto, Choso and Yuki!" he kept degrading me and I felt that I had no more self-worth.

"Yuki?" my eyes widened in shock because that was the same girl that I asked Choso about earlier and he assured me that they weren't dating.

"His girlfriend! Are you that oblivious?" he shouted at me.

"CHOSO NEVER TOLD ME
HE HAD A GIRLFRIEND."
