Gale was speeding down the road with Paige at her side, they had been driving for a few hours now, leading the group blindly.

And during that time, the car had been completely silent. The couple hadn't said a single word the entire time.

Gale had both hands on the wheel, just staring at the road ahead of her. Paige was leaning against the window, watching the scenery go by.

Gale gave her wife a small, quick look out of the corner of her eye. She usually loved silence, welcomed it gladly. But this silence was different..because it truly wasn't silent. There were lots of words in the air, just waiting, hanging there. And Gale could not stand it.

She cleared her throat and adjusted her shoulders, receiving no reaction from Paige. It was almost like she was dead, sitting silently and motionless, but yet, sill alive.

Gale sighed heavily, before beginning to click her tongue, trying to break the silence. "Stop, you know i hate that." She heard suddenly. She looked over to her wife, seeing she hadn't moved at all while scolding her. Gale rolled her eyes at this, going back to staring into the road ahead of her, now gripping the wheel until her knuckles were white.

"Are you gonna tell me whats wrong or just keep being a brat." Gale asked aggressively, as she clenched her jaw. All Paige did was kick her feet up on the dash, and cross her arms, remaining silent. "Got it." Gale mumbled, trying not to show how mad she truly was.

Daryl had soon peeled in front of them, replacing them as line leader. He had switched to his brother's motorcycle, having to leave his truck behind.

Rick had tried to make Gale leave hers, but backed down immediately when she just about ripped his head off.

They continued driving for a few moments , before there was a honk behind them, causing Gale to roll to a stop, cutting the engine. She watched Daryl hop off the bike, walking over to one of the various abandoned cars and waving her over.

She looked to Paige, going to say something but was met with a car door slammed shut in her face. She watched her wife stomp towards the group, crossing her arms as she arrived next to Carl.

Gale soon did the same, sliding out of the truck and carefully shutting her door, still hanging onto the handle as she gave her wife a final glance. Her hand slowly fell off the handle, before she shoved them both into her pockets while strolling over to Daryl, dragging her feet as she went.

He was going through the cars trunk, then made a remark. Someone complained, people talked over each other, just the usual. But Gale wasn't listening to anyone or anything, instead staring down at her shoes as she fidgeted with the watch in her pocket.

She was too angry to listen. She was angry with Paige for being upset and not saying why. She was angry with her brother for bringing them to that death trap. She was angry at Shane for obvious reasons. She was angry with Blondie and stupid hat guy for leaving her to die when she had just saved their lives.

And...she was angry at herself. She was angry she risked her life for people who didn't care. She was angry she hadn't spoken up and kept them from going to the C.D.C, when she fully knew how bad it was. She was angry the thought of staying behind and getting blown up even crossed her mind. She was angry that she had done something to make her wife upset and couldn't figure out what. She was angry she got high when she told herself she wasn't going to any more. She was just so incredibly angry and didn't know what to do with herself.

Her staring contest with her laces was interrupted as a can entered her line of vision.

She looked up to see Daryl wearing a goofy smile and shoving a can in her face. She pushed his hand back to get a good look at the label, seeing it read 'corned beef hash'.
