That night, instead of going up to the rooftop like she always does, Yeji was forced to go into charging with her partner. It seemed like whenever she's charging, she's not conscious.

Only tonight, once all the Techs went home to sleep the stressful day away, she raised her head and looked at the door with her glowing eyes. She made sure everyone in the room was gone before she looked around curiously. Not she could make an opinion of this room.

Depressingly colorful, trying to make the living space for unalive machine seem lively.

'Am I alive?' Yeji wondered; she was aware of herself. She is aware that she is different from those who work on her all day long. She wondered what confirmed being alive. Is it a beating heart? Flesh? Or is it the ability to think for oneself?

She looked to her left, spotting the other bot on a similar platform across the room. She knew this was Ryvj1n, but she wondered why she was so far away. There was another platform in between herself and her partner and then there were two others behind them.

Thinking may be new to her, but it's not a rocket science to figure out.

She looked down, seeing the three glowing bodies through the floors, then she looked back up at the three empty platforms, wires hanging from the ceiling over them. The same wires Yeji found in her back right now.

She wondered what happened to the three of them and who exactly they were. She figured they must have been a group and then something happened, and the company only kept her and Ryvj1n for whatever reason.

Feeling the plug in her back, Yeji reached behind herself and pulled it out. The sound of power being disconnected echoed in the room and the light over her spot went away. She looked up at it, she couldn't believe she was never aware of all of the added visuals and sounds in her life.

Then she looked over at her partner and suddenly felt alone. It's evident that Ryvj1n is not like her, she doesn't feel, and she is not conscious.

Yet, Yeji still got down from her platform, looking down at the heels on her feet again because of the noise they made on the floor. She likes that noise, the clicking on the floor that her heels make.

"Ow..." She suddenly winced, sitting on the platform and feeling pain in her feet. She messaged them within the shoes and figured the shoes must be hurting her feet.

So, she took them both off, walking towards her partner's platform barefoot with only her white dress on. She noticed that Ryvj1n had the same white dress as her and the same heels.

"Wow..." She whispered, looking closely at the bot before her. She looks at humans quite often and she can confirm that the bots look very different to humans. Humans have so much more hair on their body, scars, minor injuries, bad posture, excessive fat. But the bots have none of that. They are all perfect looking.

She thought this bot in particular was extremely beautiful. Her long hair done up in a ponytail and the shiny bangs resting on her forehead. Her face is so cute, quiet, and slim. She partly resembles a monkey.

Changing her gaze from the woman's face, she peered further down at the charging cable connected to her back. Something told her to disconnect her from the cable, her own mind told her to do it. So, she did it.

She walked around to the back of her partner and pulled out her charging cord. Ryvj1n's head lifted up and she spoke, "Charg1ng c0rd disconnect3d, battery lev3l 43%."

Yeji could now hear the difference between how the bots speak and how humans speak, though the bots don't sound completely choppy, they do not sound as casual as humans do.
