The manager walked into the maintenance room bright and early at her calling time. She decided not to tell JYP about these two bots quite yet, or ever. It is her job to report the things she finds out to her boss, but this time, that won't be happening.

All he will do is put her out of a job and discard the ITZY team altogether, he will not feel like rebuilding multiple bots at a time, it will cost too much.

So with a confident smirk on her face, she entered the room, the Techs all bowed and greeted her, to which she greeted them back.

"How are they doing? 100% functionality, correct?" She questioned, eyeing the two bots very carefully and walking closer to them.

"Perfectly functional, systems are perfect, we didn't even have to go in and fix anything or add any oil. So, it looks like maintenance will actually end early today." Tech R stated, guiding the less important techs to sit up both bots.

"Hmm... And are those new charging cables working well?" Soojin questioned, she has a theory that the cords were never the issue and these bots were actually unplugging themselves to fool around when they thought no one or nothing was watching.

"Yes, these cords charge a lot faster, so they are both running on a full charge!" Tech Y confirmed, sitting at her desk to do a last minute sweep through of the Yeji's system.

The woman in the suit had her arms crossed sternly over her chest, her face blunt and cocky. She went up to Ryujin first, looking up into her eyes seeing more life in them than she did before, only because now she was looking for it.

Then the leader caught her eyes from the bed table behind Ryujin's. It was evident she grew conscious before Ryujin did, and somehow she spread it to her.

With that logic. Will Kai gain consciousness because of how much time he has been spending with Ryujin? Is this like a virus? Or does one's system develop the ability to be its own person on its own?

So then, Soojin walked around Ryujin's table and in front of the redhead.

"Is there something wrong, manager-nim?" Tech Y questioned, finding Soojin's behaviour off.

"I'm just looking at them, I forget how valuable they are sometimes, you know?" Soojin played it off, touching the bot's orange hair and then leaning up to her ear. She whispered so mockingly, "You two are never allowed on that rooftop, ever again. I hope the fuck was worth it, leader-nim."

She pulled away, looking for vulnerability in those grey eyes. She saw it, like nothing else, it was there. However, the bot's actions didn't match, "I am sorry, I'm afraid I do not understand. Please try rewording your statement with terms I am familiar with, Manager Seo." The bot responded with, trying to make Soojin think she is crazy, convicting a bot of having sex.

But it's much too late for that.

Soojin scoffed to herself, "We should get audio on our security cameras." She said to herself, making sure Yeji heard her. She knew the redhead would be wondering how she found out about their forbidden intimacy, and now the redhead knew. The cameras. How could they both be so naive and simple minded?

It made Yeji feel idiotic, Soojin calling her "leader-nim" like that, like Yeji had failed at keeping them a secret and that was true.

Soojin left the area with the bots to announce to the Techs, "From now on, when you all are reorganizing and preparing for tomorrow after their schedule, they will stay in your sights. They are not allowed on the rooftop anymore, now get them ready for press today. Things are gonna change around here." She demanded, earning immediate acknowledgments from everyone in the room.
