During the day, Ryujin was busy being someone's girlfriend to beat gay allegations, and then at night she would live those allegations out. It wasn't necessarily romantic or sexual, but the time she spent with Yeji every night quickly began to be her only reason to keep pretending in front of staff.
Tonight she knew that she and the redhead had more time than usual to rest up here. So, she managed to steal board games from the break lounge for employees and brought them up to the rooftop. She loves talking to Yeji every night, she just loves getting to know her. But she thinks that for tonight they should have a different kind of fun.
This time, when Yeji heard the elevator ding, she looked over and smiled at the shorter one. Her eyes falling down to two game boxes in the woman's hands. One box ws big and rectangular and the other was significantly smaller.
"What are those?" She questioned, standing up to meet Ryujin before she made it to their bench.
"I found them in the break lounge. I thought we could play them. Or try to, I've never played a board game."
"Ooo, okay. What are these... The Game of Life and Uno; 'one' in Spanish, hm. Sounds fun. Where are we gonna play? Oh, we can use my blanket to sit on." The redhead unwrapped herself from her throw she brought. She managed to ask for one without sounding questionable. The reason she wanted it was because she didn't like these little white dresses she always has to wear at night and in the morning.
"Ok." Ryujin agreed.
They set it up together, setting the black blanket down flat on the cement floor and sitting on top of it with the board games. They first played The Game of Life, it was the closest they got to living outside of the lives they have already. Though it's barely living.
They both seemed to like Uno better, the other game depressed them. But a simple card game like Uno is both aggravating and fun.
"What? What the... what the hell is that! I didn't even know +4 wild cards were a thing. Agh, Ryujin." Yeji laughed, keeping her cool as Ryujin made her add four more cards to her hefty stack in her hands. But Ryujin's stack was no smaller.
"I have about 12 cards here, if I'm not going to get to 1 any time soon I just need to make sure you have more than me." Ryujin sassed.
Yeji has discovered that yes, Ryujin is very introverted, she likes being alone with her thoughts which does lead her to have sad ones very often. But she's not sad all the time, she's very sassy, cocky, annoying(ly charming), and clingy. Oh, she is so clingy, Yeji knew that the second Ryujin told her that she didn't want to share her with anyone else in any other way.
Yeji thinks it's adorable.
"Aya, my head..." Ryujin whispered as Yeji went her goliath stack of cards to get revenge on her. She reached to the back of her head and found all kinds of concoctions in her damn hair to keep the ponytail up and preppy.
She pulled out all of the pins and hairstyles, feeling her head suddenly get a thousand pounds lighter as her long black hair fell down just past her chest. She closed her eyes at the relaxing feeling and finger combed the locks over and over again.
"HA! Reverse! And +4!" Yeji slammed two of the cards down and looked at Ryujin for a reaction. But her smile slightly faded when she saw Ryujin with her hair down for the first time in years.
It felt like the first time, because now she could finally feel something for it.
"Wah..." She let out, unable to look away. She grew flustered when Ryujin looked at her with her dark blue eyes.
"What? Does it look bad? Maybe they always had it up for a reason. Will you help me put it back? Unnie, please?" Ryujin spread out the cluster of hair supplies she put on the blanket, wondering how exactly she will get her hair back into the ponytail.
