ONE MONTH LATER.
I don't know how I'm going to tell my mother, let alone my whole entire family about my engagement and marriage.
I'm in a deep shit, a deep hole. Some place where I need to tell them soon but can't.
The marriage is taking place in two months, I need to call my parents and tell them about it, I also need to get a wedding dress today, he's already told his parents about it, except for the vampire part.
But how would I tell mine? Would they accept me the same? Would they accept me even when knowing I fell for a merman? Accepted a proposal for a merman? This shit makes no sense.
I wanted to just go back and get married secretly, but that was just stupid. And I anyways can't go back as I'm right infront of my parent's house.
It was a dark house in an area where no houses were in, the closest house was 30 minutes away.
It was one of those houses with wooden fences, which some were crooked. The concrete walls in a dark grey colour, the wines that flew down the attic, the gable roof, and the cementry-like pathway to the house.
I made my way to the door and knocked on it.
A few seconds later the door creaked opened to reveal my mother.
"Ah! What a pleasant surprise!" My mom said with a huge smile as she opened the door widely and pulled me into a big hug.
"Hello mom."
I giggled as my dad and sister ran down the stairs.
"Sissss!!!"
My sister shouted as she ran down the stairs and shoved my mom away to hug me.
"Hello Mira, hello dad."
I saw my dad walk down the stairs.
"How's my oldest daughter doing?"
He said as she twirled his fingers to my direction, reminding me of the handshake we used to do as a kid.
I smiled widely when I saw him do that.
"I'm doing good dad."
I could see my dad smile.
"Anything new? Why didn't you call when coming? We could have made your favourites!"
My smile immediately went into a still face, my sister seemed to notice as she broke the hug, my dad's smile faded away a bit, and my mom looked confused.
"Is everything okay?"
My sister said as I immediately got shivers down my spine.
"Um, about that..."
I muttered before I blurted out
"I'm getting married."
The room was dead silent, and everyone looked surprised.
"Married?! When!"
My sister said with wide eyes.
"Two months."
The room was more silent then ever and everyone was shocked.
"What specie? Human? Vampire? Wolf?"
My mother kept going on and on until I stopped her.
