A few seconds passed, I thought that she might just ditch the wedding, since it was contract, I thought she would not come and walk by since she had been five minutes late, but suddenly the flower girl came and started throwing flowers on the aisle before going back to her bench, giggling as Scarlet chose her little cousin, who was five. To be the flower girl, she was really cute.
Scarlet's cousins rosy cheeks could be seen with her cute floral dress that was obviously red. I'm honestly not surprised since they are vampires, I think her cousin is.
But then, I saw the girl I always wanted to see for the past five minutes, Scarlet.
She was walking down the aisle with her father beside her, her bridesmaid and other followed her as she took her place on the stage beside me.
I was grinning like a madman, scrap that. I was smiling.
The host then started to say his lines.
He started off by saying the welcome statement.
"Today, two soulmates join together with a declaration of love as they celebrate on their journey in life. They open up to share the beauty and hardships that may come along the way as life unfolds within their marriage."
The crowd on the chairs, half of them being my close friends and family while the other ones being Scarlets close friends and family looked at us as the host continued to speak.
"Marriage is a beautiful union, as two individuals come together with promises of love and devotion. They go threw unique journey that intertwines individual growth without losing their bond through life's many experiences–always cherishing each other in love."
Then we had to start our vows, and I had to go first.
Since I knew Scarlet has seen my vows, I changed them to something else.
"I vow to make you feel cherished, valued, and respected each day of our lives–through thick or thin, no matter how difficult the times may be, my love for you will remain strong until death takes us apart"
The host then turned to Scarlet as she started saying her vows.
"With my heart, I vow always to treasure you and hold your needs. Throughout our adventures together, I promise to protect and support you unconditionally–through all the highs and lows that we may bring. Until death takes us apart, I vow to let nothing stand in the way of true love's consistent devotion."
We then exchanged our rings before we looked in each others eyes, the host then started to speak again as he said the declaration of intent in the formal way.
"Do you, Aaron Casper, take Scarlet Larin to be your lawfully wedded spouse?"
He said as he glanced at me.
"I do."
I said as I smiled widely, my teeth showing.
""Do you, Scarlet Larin, take Aaron Casper to be your lawfully wedded spouse?"
She smiled as she then said.
"I do."
The host then smiled as he then held the mic.
"I pronounce you both husband and wife."
The host said as I smashed my lips against hers.
She giggled before pushing me away as I grinned, my lips having her lipstick on it.
But I didn't care.
We then kept one of our hands together as a ribbon was tied around it, the host then said.
"May your love be the foundation upon which you build your life together, strong like a rock. May you cherish and honor each other, through the good and bad, through laughter and tears, through trials and triumphs."
He said before he continued.
"May the crowd applaud for the newly wed couple, Aaron and Scarlet!"
The host said enthusiastically as everyone started clapping.
He then took my tied hand and interlocked our fingers before we ran down the aisle, giggling and laughing as our friends snapped pictures, applauded, or shouted compliments.
The host then goes off stage as we end up giggling in the end of the aisles, we made our way to where the flower girl, ring bearer, the maid of honor, and the best man followed behind us.
We then went to take some pictures of the wedding, which turned out beautiful.
A few hours during our wedding, we were at the tables with our friends and family as they made some speeches for our wedding, we laughed at every one of them, it was nice.
I was sitting beside Scarlet, rubbing my thumb against her hand as she giggles at the speeches and eats her cake.
Once the speeches are done and I saw Scarlet finished her cake, I grinned and got up.
"So, miss Casper, would you like to, I don't know, maybe spare some time for a dance?"
I asked as she nods, she held my hand and giggled as we made our way to the dance floor where our cousins or friends were dancing at as we started to dance together.
This was the best day yet.
And we are finally married, we are finally husband and wife instead of engaged.
