Her eyes were beautiful, her face was a beautiful sight. Her sleeping face was a beautiful sight.
She looked so relaxed everytime she slept, her soft snores were heard across the room as I listened to her soft inhales and exhales.
I kept listening to her snores as she was asleep, I already chose the wedding vow I wanted to say in our wedding, ofcourse its a contract but my parents need to believe it, and probably same for hers. I think my sister would get quite close with Scarlet, but I want Scarlet to be mine. I wanna be the only person she is close with.
If she ever gets close with someone else, she's fucked up.
Once we get married by contract, I'll make sure she'll never be able to leave me, regarding the circumstances she will stay with me, be with me, stay by my side.
She will never be able to leave me.
If she tries, I'll make her my fucking captive, the same way she did to me if she does try to leave me, she will never be able to leave me.
She will be mine, she'll be stuck as mine.
I will make sure she will be mine, forever.
Yet, no matter how much I think of keeping her as mine, my thinking snaps as I hear a voice, Scarlets voice, she woke up from her sleep.
"A...Aaran?"
She mumbles as she lazily gets up of the bed and stretches her hands to the air.
I hummed, she looked at me, glancing between the pen I was holding, the book on the table, and me. She looked at them for a few moments before mumbling.
"What...what are you writing?"
She mumbled as I snapped my gaze to look in her eyes, she was looking directly at me.
"Nothing, nothing important."
I whisper, she looks unconvinced and gets up from the bed, making her way towards me.
I shut the book and kept the pen to the side as I got up, she stared at me.
"Are you sure?"
She whispers as she leans in closer.
"You seem unconvinced with your words."
I let out a cough at what she said, I tried making myself look unfazed.
"What are you talking about? I was writing down some thoughts."
I say, my voice sounded serious as I tried making my facial expressions as serious as possible.
Normally, she would believe me and walk away, but she was questioning. Maybe its because I woke up earlier than her, which is unusual, and also because I'm probably using the pen she normally uses on a daily basis.
"Could I see these thoughts?"
Fuck, her words caught me offguard.
"Uhm, no...sorry Scarlet, their private."
I mumble, she looks unfazed and looks down at me again to ask the same question as earlier.
"Are you lying?"
I sighed.
"Do you not believe me?"
She stayed silent, she definitely didn't believe me. Right then and there I moved my hands to cup her face.
"Listen, I would not lie to you, alright?"
I say, but she still looks unconvinced. The moment I move my hand away, she lunges and grabs the book, her eyes dilate as she sees what I have been writing.
She saw the writing, she saw the vows.
She saw the wedding vows.
I immediately snatched the book from her and stood up. My moves were cold and calculated as I stared down to look at her, a smile crept on her face.
"Pretty little vows you wrote there."
She says as she brings my hand to her lips, and kisses my knuckle.
I don't know what affect she had on me, but it made small pink blush flushed on my cheekbones at her actions, this girl drives me insane. And I hate it so much, yet again. I crave it.
'Snap out of it Aaran', I say to myself in my head as I immediately ask a question
"Did you read the whole thing?"
She looks at me.
"No, but if its the wedding vows then I'll respect the privacy of the vows till the wedding takes place, and maybe you should have told the truth."
After her words she placed the book down.
"I'll see you later, my vows are already written, still debating between two of them."
My heart starting beating, hard and fast, for some reason.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
She also had her vows ready, and was deciding between two of the vows, that was good, both our vows were already chosen, I have finalized mine, she still is debating between two.
"Chose the vow that resembles between both of us."
I say before I watch her look at me.
"Then I know the perfect one."
That was good, really good.
Both our vows were ready now, including the dress and probably both our parents knowing of the arrangement, ofcourse if I tell my sister she's going to nag me until I let her see Scarlet, I'll probably tell my sister about the marriage a month before the wedding, which is in two months and a week away.
She's probably going to ask so many questions about Scarlet, and they will high chance be like the best of friends, regarding their species.
I just know how hectic its going to be if I tell my sister about Scarlet, its better to not tell her until a month before the wedding when she's distracted by preparing for her dress and all.
It will be crazy once she sees Scarlet, honestly I'm going to feel bad for Scarlet as my sister's going to bombard her with questions.
They're going to be bestfriends.
I snapped out of my thoughts to see that Scarlet has left the room again, probably doing some other stuff.
I kept the pen away and brought the book to a drawer to shove it inside before shutting the drawer and getting up from my seat, tucking in the chair as I hopped back to the bed and lied down. I glanced at the open door to see Scarlet drinking water as she always does in the morning, her free hand obviously combing her hair as she runs her fingers threw her hair.
I watch her as my mind shifts to how calm she looks.
I stay there and admire her from the bed, just staring at her while she drinks water.
