Ruhi, Abhira, Vidya, Armaan, and other family members walk into the hall. They are shocked to see Rohit's picture framed with incense sticks and flowers. Dadi, Manish, Suwarna, and Surekha stand with folded hands.

Vidya: (shocked, stepping forward) Maasa, what is this? Why is Rohit’s picture here like this?

Vidya: (shocked, stepping forward) Maasa, what is this? Why is Rohit’s picture here like this?

Ruhi: (voice trembling) What... what is this?

Dadi: (calmly) Vidya, it’s time to accept reality. We have to honor the memories of the deceased.

Vidya: (panicking) No, you can’t do this!

Dadi: (firmly) I kept Rohit alive in my hope, but now that hope must die. We need to let go of this hope to make room for new dreams.

Vidya and Ruhi start crying. Dadi takes a garland in her hands.

Vidya: (pleading) No, please, you can’t do this

Vidya: (pleading) No, please, you can’t do this. Rohit will come back. Madhav ji, Armaan, say something!

Madhav and Armaan: (helplessly) ...

Manjari and swarna holds Ruhi as she cries.

Dadi: (softly) We have no right to push Ruhi into the darkness of loneliness. Think about her future, Vidya.

Vidya: (desperately) No, Maasa, my Rohit will come back!

Dadi, with tears in her eyes, puts the garland over Rohit’s picture. Armaan and everyone else cry.

Ruhi recalls the day of her marriage at Poddar's house. Dadi opens a box and gestures Ruhi to come forward.

Dadi: (gently) Ruhi, come here, dear.

Ruhi steps forward, trembling. Dadi wipes away her sindoor.
