Jessica has significantly expanded her career. After starring in a kdrama alongside Cha Eunwoo, fans have been begging to see her on screen again. However, her activities within the group prevented her from doing so. But in mid-2023, we contacted her to film in a movie, in Japan ! She was very enthusiastic about this idea and after a long meeting with her manager and Bang Si Hyuk, she signed the contract. It was no surprise to find K on set. Her fellow &Team idol had the role of the male lead, and since she was the female lead, they were going to film together non-stop. She had some apprehensions at the beginning, with their past relationship but everything went extremely well. The fact is that it was like the previous time and the more time they spent together, the more ambiguous their relationship became.
The film's premiere was held in Tokyo and their two groups were invited for the occasion. There were also other star authors or idols. One part of the performance hall where the broadcast was held was reserved for guests and the other for fans. Tickets were expensive but they would do anything to attend an event like this.
Enhypen landed the day before the premiere but was unable to see Jessica, who was busy with her staff. On the big day and very well dressed, they went to the premiere. There were tons of photographers blasting them with their flashes while they posed. They signed a few autographs when the shouting grew louder. A black limousine pulled up to the curb and K got out, zipping up his suit jacket. He waved to the crowd before turning around, extending his hand to Jessica who grabbed it to help him out of the vehicle.
Arms intertwined, they walked up to the journalists who took photos of them. Jessica looked stunning in a long black velvet dress with long sleeves. From afar, Enhypen watched them, feeling slightly jealous.

The film was set in the Joseon dynasty era, in a rather historical setting so there were special costumes, etc. Jessica laughed when she saw K panicking at the idea of having to wear a wig to have long hair like in most period dramas but their story didn't necessarily take place in the monarchy so he didn't have to do it. Especially since at the time of filming he had a fairly long cut at the nape of the neck so it was enough to appear realistic in the frame.

It is therefore the story of a young girl who happens to be the missing princess of the kingdom, without her knowing it. He is a mercenary who was hired to find her. They meet when he saves her from a robbery and she decides to stay by his side, not suspecting who he is. Their relationship grows as they face many dangers. In the end, she discovers who she is, and that the person he claimed to be didn't exist. A mercenary who only stayed with her for the reward of his find. However, his feelings do not disappear and in a final battle against the usurper of the throne, he gives his life for her.
Jessica was looking forward to fans' reactions to certain scenes. She knew in advance that they would like it. Fortunately, although the film was in Japanese, there were English subtitles.
