CHAPTER:- 2

Agni's POV:-

I was getting nervous, when I suddenly heard the jingling sounds of the bangles. I looked up and my heart stopped for few seconds. There she was, wearing a copper color saree. She kept the tray on the table. Then she gave the cup and our eyes met. The moment our eyes met, it felt like that the time has stopped. Those eyes of her, filled with kajal were as deep as the ocean. It held the purity and innocence of her soul. When she said her name, her voice was so angelic. I felt like, I can spend the rest of my life, listening to her soothing voice. That bindi, those jhumkas held her elegance. Those curls, which were coming on her face, increased her beauty to a next level. She sat beside her father. Our parents talked a bit and then Ranjana aunty said:-

Ranjana:- Komal ji, I think now our children should talk amongst themselves, before we decide anything.

Komal:- Yeah yeah, sure.

Ranjana:- Diya beta, take Agni to your room.

Diya just nodded her head. We both started walking towards her room.

Diya's POV:-

We both enter in our room. My room was not that typical girls type. Few pictures of mine, few frames of my paintings and few wall stickers (where some motivational quotes are written) are on the wall. Except that, a small study table, a dressing table , bed, closet that's it. We both are quiet. Agni was looking at the things when suddenly he said:-

Agni:- Woow Diya, the balcony is so nice and the view... Damn!!

I finally gathered some courage and went to him.

"Yeah, this is my most favorite place"

Agni:- If you don't mind can we talk here.

"Are you sure?? I mean we talk in our room"

Agni:- Yeah, I'm sure. We can talk here.

"Ok"

Again we were in our silent mode. 😶
Finally Agni spoke

Agni:- Hey don't be nervous okay. I now it's a bit awkward, even for me also, but please be comfortable.

(𝓛𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓾𝓽 𝓪 𝓼𝓲𝓰𝓱) :- Yeah... Ummm... So tell me something about you.... I mean your likes and dislikes

Agni:- Ahh, okay so you know already that I'm an IPS officer. Except that if you say about my likes then I like to play guitar. I love bike riding and travelling.

Then after few seconds, he said

"And you... I mean you want to ask something or share... If you want, you can"

"Did you had any relationship"?

Agni:- No, I didn't... Actually I was always busy with my studies and I never thought of coming into a relationship. And then now, 4 girls rejected me because of my profession".

I was shocked. I mean he's so handsome, that sharp jawline, those veiny hands. Plus he's an IPS officer. Then how can someone reject him?? I was in my own world and maybe he understood and he started to speak

Diya:- What if I say that I had a relationship?

Agni:- Do you still love that guy? I mean if yes,that you can tell me. See I really don't want to force anything on you.

Diya:- Aapko problem Nehi hoga? I mean aap single the, so I think you also expect that your partner will also have a clear past right?

Agni:- See relationship is something which happens at anytime. Main relationship main nhi tha,iska mtlb yeh nhi ki koi aur relationship main nhi hoga. Aur rahi baat agr clear past ki, toh even if she don't have a clear past I don't have any issue. Maybe she was the one,who was the victim, she was cheated so I really don't have any issue. The only thing which I want is,loyal and transparency because that matters to me and main khud bhi loyal and transparent rahunga.

Diya was really surprised with his response. He was the 1st one who didn't have any issue with her past.

Diya:- I promise main loyal aur transparent rahungi and I also expect the same from you as well.

Agni:- Yup...Aur kuch, kuch aur puchna ya batana chahte hain.
