Blake

I pulled into the garage, the familiar smell of gasoline and burning rubber filling my nostrils. My street racing crew, was gathered around a sleek black car, tinkering with its engine. I spotted Jack, my best friend and crew member, and made my way over to him.

"Hey, where's Carlos?" I asked, scanning the room for our crew leader.

Jack looked up from the engine, a concerned expression on his face. "He never showed up, Blake. But there's a letter on the workbench with your name on it."

My heart began to race as I walked over to the workbench. The letter was written in Spanish, and my mind struggled to translate the words. But one phrase stood out: "Es hora de que pierdas algo que amas, tal como lo hiciste conmigo." It meant "It's time for you to lose something you love, just like you did with me."

My heart skipped a beat. This was no ordinary threat. I knew exactly who had written this letter, and my mind raced with worst-case scenarios. I didn't wait for Jack to say anything, I just turned and left the garage, my heart pounding in my chest.
