Tamela's alarm rang, waking her up so she could get ready for work. She had only gotten a few hours of sleep and she had to work a lot of hours on those few hours and she was irritated.

She had one of the best sleeps of her life after Karen gave her a mind blowing orgasm and she didn't really want to get up, but she had to.

Tamela wore her robe , she got out her room and went to the bathroom and took a shower.

After Tamela finished getting ready for work she went to go make herself something to eat, she saw Karen sitting on the couch reading one of the books that was around the house.

"Hey " Tamela greeted and Karen closed the book a  bit to look at her.

"Hi , did you sleep okay?" Karen asked and Tamela gave her a nod.

"I did thank you " Tamela said and went to the island to start making something.

"You want something to eat?" Tamela asked and Karen shook her head yes not saying anything more.

Tamela put out a breath, she knew that things would be awkward between them, the fact that neither of them knew each other like that made it even more weird.

She finished making their food and she sat down with Karen to eat, even then Karen was pretty much quiet and she didn't know what to say either.

"Anything you remember yet?" Tamela finally asked after some few moments of silence and Karen shook her head no.

"Not yet." She simply said in a raspy voice.

"You can sleep in my bed when you want to go to sleep, I know it will be weird for you to sleep in a hospital bed when you're fully functioning and healthy " Tamela told her and she watched as Karen put out an awkward smile.

"Thank you." Karen told her and Tamela nodded.

Tamela felt like she couldn't be late any longer, so she finished up quickly and got up to leave for work. She helped Karen on some important notes to know and then she said her goodbyes and made her way out the door.

Karen watched as Tamela left her in the apartment, she couldn't look into her eyes because she was ashamed of how she acted earlier but at the same time she couldn't stop staring at her.

It was like she lost all of the morals she knew yesterday and she forgot who she was... a child of God and that wasn't anything like what a child of God would do.

Deep in her thoughts Karen washed the remaining dishes, she then went to take a shower she felt like her body hasn't relaxed in such a long time and she loved how the water felt running through her body.

After taking her shower she fetched her book next to the couch and went to Tamela's room to read it there until she was able to fall asleep because she had nothing else to do.

Flashback:

"Tam dear I can explain!" David said grabbing Tamela's arm.

"Explain what David!? What are you going to explain!?" Tamela exclaimed, she was hurt, livid, she never thought that her husband would ever cheat on her... David was a good man.

"Mama I'm sorry but it was like- you were never here dear and I-" David tried to explain but Karen cut her off by pushing him hard away from her.

"I was never here?!" Tamela yelled.

"You are never here Tam, all you care about is that Karen of yours, Karen this , Karen that... you have your own family here Tamela." David said and tears fell from Tamela's eyes, she knew what she was doing was taking a toll on her family but she didn't think it would amount to such.
