On January 17th, 1996 a couple came into an orphanage in New York City seeking a child, specifically a son. That was the day one-week-old Yuno Sykk was adopted by the couple, leaving his twin-sister at the orphanage, not knowing of her existence.
Yuno had grown up with parents that loved him but were strict, he wasn’t super social and would always be in his room, he had the latest technology and had a big interest in hacking. On his 18th birthday when his parents told him that he had a twin-sister he got super silent, and locked himself away from the outside world, he decided to try and find her.
Yuno decided to ask his parents questions at the dinner table the next night, he always knew he was adopted but he never had any interest in knowing the details of his adoption until now, when he knew he had a twin-sister that his parents kept from him.
After finding out he was born in New York City and doing more research, he found her a year later. She was still in New York City and had friends and a social life, scrolling through her social media. Her name was Ray Mond and she looked happy.
Yuno had tried to keep tabs on her over the years but by the time they were 21 she had stopped posting on her social media account all together and he had gotten worried.
Yuno kept checking over the year but after no activity and wanting to get away from the small town he grew up in, he left his family home to the city of Los Santos, he had heard that they had some of the best hackers and it intrigued him greatly.
Yuno had been in the city for only a few days and was currently in hand-cuffs when his boss at the casino was calling him, the officers let him answer the phone as he told them it could be important.
“Yuno i found your twin” is the first thing Claire says when he answers the phone.
“My twin?”
“She says her name is Ray Mond”
The officers then yell at Yuno to hang up the phone when it sounds like it isn't work related.
“The officers are making me hang up” he quickly says and ends the call with Claire.
Both Ray and Yuno had wanted to bond but Ray had been captivated by Randy Bullet, a member of Chang Gang soon after moving to Los Santos. Yuno had joined the Clean Boys alongside Lang Buddha, causing the twins to not connect as they wanted to. Each of their respected gangs pulled them apart.
